1st U/S Update

So, late last week I was having some lower abdominal pains, similar to what I would call RLP, but being that I'm only 6 weeks, I thought that was too early and called my dr.  They suggested to be safe, I should come in and they could do an u/s.  Big news... THERE WERE TWO BUGS IN THERE! (which explains early RLP, my uterus was like 3x the original size already) Shocker for me.  I mean, not totally shocker based on the facts that 1. I had 3 embryos transferred and 2 my betas were a bit higher.  But, I had convinced myself that there would just be 1.  

We weren't able to see a heartbeat just yet, but that didn't concern me, I didn't expect to see one just yet.  Dr cautioned us that of course this early, there is the possibility of a vanishing twin.  But all that said, there was a LOT of discussion this weekend between DH and I about the possibilities... exciting and scary all at the same time!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    Congratulations! Seeing our two little miracles for the first time was definitely a shock for us, even though we knew it was a possibility. I wish you a happy and uneventful pregnancy!

    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!
