is anyone using these for exclusive formula feeding? I'd like to use these but the nipple looks huge. Anyone having any issues with newborn latching onto these? Thanks!
I have used them for my LO since she was a newborn. I tried a bunch of different bottles and she did the best with the Playtex nursers. I found that Target sells their own brand of liners for a few dollars cheaper than the Playtex brand.
We've used them since our first LO was born and have never had a problem. We plan to continue using them with out next LO as well. We didn't have a dishwasher and I loved not having to wash bottles. The liners are also recyclable so I didn't feel bad about using them. I also really liked that I could toss one or two cylinders and a bunch of liners and nipples into our bag and was set for any long visits we might make. As for the nipples, we never had a problem, and my first LO is tongue-tied. I was also just at the store and apparently now they have 4 or 5 different types of nipples for the Playtex bottle system. If the drop-in's appeal to you, I say go check out the new types of nipples - I saw two that looked smaller/thinner.
I used them for my son and my niece is using them for her new little girl, they both didn't have any issues and she is a tiny baby with a very tiny mouth.
