I don't post on here often, but I am going nuts trying to figure this out and I would imagine many people on here have been through this. Hoping some of you ladies might have an idea of what's going on so that I can relax a bit until tomorrow...first, a little background:
I am in the midst of my first cycle using injectables (Gonal-F) and IUI. Because I am young, my doctor dosed me very conservatively. At first, it seemed I was responding just as I should, but then all growth just seemed to stop at around 11mm. I am leaving for vacation on Wednesday so, when I went in for my ultrasound this past Thursday, they decided to up my dose a little in hopes that I could trigger tonight and have my IUI on Tuesday. All in all, I've now done 12 days of injections. I went in for my ultrasound today and nothing has grown AT ALL. I have a ton of little follicles, but nothing even close to matured. The nurse told me that even if I weren't going away, they would probably cancel me and we'd regroup once AF came. She also said that I could expect to maybe feel a little bloated and crampy this week, due to all of the little follicles, and that I may even get AF early. This would also be a problem as I'll be gone for a week.
So, long story short, I came home, had some breakfast, and fell asleep again for a little bit. While I was sleeping, the nurse called me three times within a 15 minute span. In the 3rd message they said "just call us in the morning after 9 with your pharmacy phone number. The doctor said you can just start the medicine tomorrow, it's not urgent." So, now I'm wondering what kind of medication they could possibly be starting me on...maybe BCP?
Has anyone ever been prescribed an oral medication immediately following a cycle cancelled due to under response?
I know I will obviously find out what it is in the morning, but I'm hoping maybe someone has a similar experience that can put my mind at ease until then!

Re: Cancelled cycle question
I didn't think of Provera...maybe that is it. Either way, I've kept pretty busy today and am feeling a little less anxious. I'll post tomorrow when I find out what the plan is!

Thanks again for the suggestions yesterday! It made me feel a lot better to have some sort of an idea of what to expect :-)
As for my cycle being cancelled, it does suck. But, in a way, I'm a little relieved. I was so stressed about trying to get the IUI in before we had to leave...now, I get to just go on vacation, relax, drink some wine guilt-free, and then regroup when we get back. If we had done the IUI, I would have spent the whole trip stressing about the 2ww, so I guess there's a positive side to all of this.
