BF or FF? Just diagnosed with Hep C

So I'm 16 weeks and diagnosed with Hep C. I wanted to BF, but am terrified to now, because if I dry, crack and bleed. Any feedback? I don't know much about my condition, I was just diagnosed and have further testing to undergo. (by the way, hello I am newish) Thank you ladies for your time.

I would follow your doctor's advice on this one.

The AAP, ACOG, and the CDC all support breastfeeding with Hepatitis C. There have been no documented cases of transmission to baby through breastmilk.

However, listen to your doctor in case you have other reasons why baby can't breastfeed.
