Some of you may remember me, as I posted a while back with a typical newb type question about betas. Well, after 3 years, 2 surgeries, and 4 failed IUI cycles, I can finally confirm that DH and I found success with our first complete IVF cycle this past July!

I was gifted with the very first positive pregnancy test of my life on August 11th. I still think it hasn’t completely sunk in for me, so I take it one day at a time.

I had my first pregnancy U/S on Friday, it was DH's first time seeing the vag cam and quite funny. We learned that we are 6 wks, and were surprised that we got to see and hear the heartbeat of our little bean! 115bpm. We also found out that I have moderate OHSS (which completely came out of left field since I only had 9 follicles). I've become a Gatorade guzzling machine.

So, here I find myself. Still a little scared, but feeling very relieved to see that things are progressing well.

    Congrats and welcome! I too had moderate OHSS, with only 12 follicles. Hope you're not too uncomfortable!

    Thank you all for the welcome. @runawaylaurel‌ I didn't notice anything weird except that I was way bloated. They said they will check me again at my next U/S. But outside of that, no real discomfort.

    I had some discomfort laying on my back because everything was really cramped in my abdomen, and I wasn't a fan of the bloat- I couldn't even look at pants with buttons weeks- but it was never painful. Hope it's the same for you! Oh and I had read it can last all first tri but mine cleared up around week 8. And of course it's all worth it to be on the pregnancy train :)

    Welcome! I had a pretty nasty case of OHSS on a failed IUI- it's no joke. Hoping you get relief soon!

    DX: MFI (low count and motility)
    Charting/OPK/CBFM July 2013-present
    1st RE Visit: January 2014
    Cycling: 
    March 2014- 75iu follistim + trigger + progesterone + IUI = BFN and OHSS
    (8 million post wash 47% motility, 18mm/17mm/16mm/16mm/14mm follies)
    April/May 2014- Benched due to cysts/enlarged ovaries
    June 2014- 50iu follistim + trigger + progesterone + IUI = BFP!!
    (10 million post wash 60% motility, 20mm/19mm follies)
    Beta 1- 85 Beta 2- 2,752 - EDD 2/27/2015

    TTC since 9/2011. DH - 32, me 32.

    IUI#1 (natural): BFN; IUI#2 (clomid): BFN; IUI#3 (clomid and follistim): BFN.

    IVF #1 March 2013, freeze all (OHSS).

    FET#1 June: BFN

    FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3).  Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial.  FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.

    *New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.

    IVF #2: ER 3/4/14  ET 3/7/14, transferred 3, 3 day 9 cell perfect embryos.  No frosties.

    Beta #1 (14dp3dt) 504

    Beta #2 (21dp3dt) 11,561

    First ultrasound on 4/3/14 showed 3 sacs: one empty and two with beating hearts!!  At 7w2d, found out that one baby did not have a heartbeat anymore.  Praying that baby B makes it.  Baby B is a girl!

    EDD 11/25/14 BORN 11/29/14

    DX: Me - DOR & tubal issues, DH: none. 
    June 2004: Ectopic pregnancy with DH while dating
    October & November 2013: IUI #1 & 2 - BFN
    December 2013:Taking a break, trying on our own.
    January 2014: BFP!!!! Ectopic pregnancy ruptured at 6wks1day. Left Fallopian tube removed. Noted during surgery the right Fallopian tube is severely damaged from 2004 ectopic pregnancy.
    April 8 2014: IVF#1 w/ISCI: 10 received, 5 mature, 3 fertilized. Day 3 transfer of all three embies.
    April 22, 2014: BFP! beta #1: 80 beta #2: 211 One nugget! 
    January 6, 2015: Adeline Marguerite is here!!

    Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN.  IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Beta #1 195 Beta #2 1/15-533. Ultrasound on 2/4 showed one bean. EDD 9/22/14. Team Green turned Team Blue-Baby Conner arrived on 9/19/14.
