I don't get it. I thought people used Y's to feminize make names, so you take a very masculine name like Jake, and put a Y in it to what? Make your boy's name more feminine? More unique?.
hmmm is little Jou.rdyn a girl? One of my bff growing up was Jord.yne so it was feminine. Idk it still sounds like a boys name to me
Yes, Jour.dyn is a girl. Not to generalize, but (screw it, I'm generalizing) can you tell her parents were both 16? From what I was told, the mom wanted Jordyn and the dad (my cousin) decided to add the u just because. Ugh.
I have another female cousin named Jordan on the other side of my family. It's all girl to me now.
