AW - Finally! Recognition! (NTTCALR)

My boss put out our pay stubs at work yesterday. I picked mine up and checked it, just to make sure it was right (mistakes are made on a regular enough basis that it's habit now lol). While looking through it, I noticed that I got a small raise! Not a whole lot, but 25 cents an hour. My boss never even mentioned it to me, and the only time I ever mentioned it was jokingly by telling her that someone else thought I deserved a raise. I was honestly happy with what I got.

She was still outside talking with her kids before she went home, so I went out and said "thank you for my raise". She kind of grinned, and then told me to keep my mouth shut, which makes me think that I'm probably the only one who got one. Then she said "it's not much, but I'm working on it", which makes me think that I can probably expect more in the forseeable future.

I know it's really not that big of a deal, but it's the first raise I've ever earned in my working career that wasn't government mandated lol. So cool!
