We are expecting our first child, my husband's father passed away last fall and we will be using his first name George as our son (if it is a boy) as his middle name. I was thinking about Beckett George. Any thoughts?

    What about Bennett, Emmett, or Everett? These all sort of "feel" like Beckett to me.

    I think Bennett George could be a great name, and the plus of a sweet nickname Ben and Benny.

    This. Bennett George is our next boy's name. Both family names.

    I don't hate Beckett, but I don't think it pairs well with George.

    I can't say Beckett without it sounding like Bucket. I think there are much better names out there. I do love George in the MN spot.

    Sheabear, George is also my father and Brother's names as well as my husband's father'a name. There are just too many Georges. This is also why I refuse to use my husband's name. I want our child to have his own identity.

    Thank you all for your input. I never thought of Beckett as Bucket, so I guess I will start thinking again. I am not a fan of names you can walk into a store and call your child and nine kids turn around.
