I bought 9 one-size pocket Bumgenius this past weekend (I'm still baking my girl, so we won't be ready for them for awhile) a few of them have some worn out Velcro on the tabs and the front belly piece. She gave me a bag of replacement tabs, and I'm just wondering if anyone has tips for the repair? Warnings? The diapers themselves are in GREAT shape otherwise. I have a sewing machine or I can handsew... Or I can get my Mom to do it, if it's a major hassle

While I'm here, I've got my cloth wipes all set for baby, and we're planning on making our wipe solution out of water/dr Bronners (what we are using for baby wash), lavender EO and Tea Tree EO... We are going to use disposable diapers for the first few days (just for our come home adjustment period, we are having a birthcenter birth so we'll be home within a few hours of delivery) but I'm just nervous about the essential oils being to strong for her skin at first. The recipe I'm using is 1 cup h20, 1 tsp Dr. B, 2 drops each EO... Should I just use water for awhile? We're also planning on using coconut oil for lotion, and I put a few drops of lavender in some for baby massage before bed... It's therapeutic grade, I'm just a EO newb and a FTM so I worry about All The Things.
Thanks everyone!
Re: Replacing Velcro... And cloth wipe question
We have always only used either plain water or water with a couple drops of baby soap for wipes.
I like aplix for nb, but snaps just hold up longer.
