Advice please!

I don't see my doctor again for another 2 weeks and I'm not sure if I should wait until then to discuss this or call the office.  Anyway, my dilemma...the last day or two, when I get home in the evenings my left foot is swollen, only the left one.  I've also noticed, if I'm playing on my phone for a few minutes my left hand will fall asleep.  Should I worry about this?  It's only the left side, strange?  I don't remember this happening with my first.

I would probably call and mention it to see if they want to see you and check your BP and urine. Just in case. That's odd that it's only your left side.

Not sure about feet but I've had my hands go numb, especially in the morning when I wake up. Ask your doc, mine told me it can be pregnancy carpal tunnel. Fluid retention is pressing the nerve. They have me wearing wrist braces as often as possible to correct it and it seems to help.

I was thinking that too.  Nothing hurts and I feel fine so it's strange.  I also monitor my BP at home and it's been normal.  I'll call to be safe.

@cindyNmark2010 - I always thought carpal tunnel was painful?!

I called a week or so ago because my left foot was swollen (just one side can be a sign of a blood clot). Turns out she was sitting funny which restricted my left side. They had me measure both feet/ankles/calves for a few days and I found that both were swollen, but the left is always more so (with no problems). Hope yours is just as innocuous!

I would call. Each appointment they ask me if I've had any swelling so it must be important. Better safe than sorry!

@dana633 It did actually end up being painful after a while.  It's also causing a "trigger finger" where my finger gets stuck if I make a fist and snaps back into place.  They say it should go away after LO is here but it's not pleasant at the moment.  I'd still call to be sure of everything.
