My daughter just turned one and we just bought the 4ever car seat...wondering if I should put her forward or backwards. She is 24ish pounds. I'm not sure how tall but in her infant seat her feet were about one inch over the bottom.
Oh! I finally found it in the manual. "The AAP and NHTSA recommend that children be rear facing until the age of two or until they reach maximum rear facing height and weight"
FYI the AAP says a child should be At Least 2 years old and the NHTSA say children should FF between 2-4 years of age or until they outgrow the RF limits of their seats. The wording in the manual puts it more like they should go FF at 2. When that is just the minimum. The seat you purchased could very easily get an average growth child until 3-5 years of age. It's a really tall shelled seat. I've been really enjoying these seats for installs.
Re: Carseat Question
Sorry! Maybe this will help someone else though!
Thanks anyways.
