Baby girl has gone mobile. Over the past few weeks she's gone from rocking on all fours to doing handstands to finally crawling forward on all fours which she first did today. Who else has a baby who is crawling?
DD2 has been on the move the last 2 weeks. She had herself rocking on all fours the last couple of days, and today was army crawling by pushing herself with her feet to get where she wants to go. It's not going to take long and she'll be crawling.
DD is thisclose to crawling. She gets up on hands and knees and rocks backwards and forwards. Sometimes she pushes herself off with her knees and ends up doing a faceplant. Today she moved one hand forward but ended up falling over. She gets where she wants to go already, though! She either pulls/pushes herself across the floor on her belly or barrel rolls around.

Oh yes, we had plenty of face plants over here as well lol.
DD has been crawling for a little over a month. She actually started crawling before she could sit by herself.
My DD started crawling about the same time she started sitting up by herself. It's almost like there was an explosion of development at the same time. After crawling, it was waving and trying to clap. And now almost getting ready to pull up all by herself, yikes!

This is us exactly.
Yesterday he went from all 4s to sitting for the first time. I bet this weekend he takes off. Yesterday my MIL said he was trying to crawl and did a leap frog jump and landed on his belly a few times. He's so close.
She did the worm for the longest time and got where she needed to go then last weekend she decided to try crawling and has been ever since. When she is tired she"ll revert back to the worm.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
DD is a little behind on her gross motor skills because of her reflux so no crawling here. But the other day she pulled her leg up under herself dying tummy time and was moving around so I think that she is at least starting to progress toward crawling.
crawling for a couple weeks. also pulling up to standing and cruising around the room on furniture. She has tried to walk accross the room a couple of times - sees something in the middle of the floor and just lets go of whatever she is holding on to to try to walk over to the new item - and face planted. I think its the curse of the second child - she sees big brother do things and just assumes she can too.
DD has been crawling for at least 2 weeks now and is starting to pull herself up. Her crawl is little weird though, she crawls with her right knee down but her left leg is kind of out to side and she pushes off on her foot. Any other crawlers have any "unusual" methods?
DS does this type of crawl sometimes. He also crawls with his butt sticking way up in the air. It's hysterical. DD began crawling very similar to this too
DS isn't really crawling, just scooting backwards and then rolling around to get where he wants to go. He is constantly planking and trying to go forward, but hasn't quite figured out what role his knees are supposed to play in the whole thing.
Yes! DD does the butt up in the air crawl too, so funny! She gets herself where she wants to be quite well and she's actually getting pretty quick. She just doesn't do it in a "normal" crawling manner.
My LO doesn't want to pick his big ole belly off the ground to crawl...he'd rather sit or lay on his stomach and pull the blanket he's usually on towards him to get his toys instead lol

LO is mobile but not crawling. She will roll, scoot and army crawl to get where she needs.

DD also started crawling before she could sit up by herself. I'm a little sad that I never got the phase where you could just sit the baby on the floor and they would play in one position, but its really cute to see her all over the house exploring everything and not needing a pile of toys to entertain her. She's been crawling for about a month now. She can now pull herself up on furniture and has been testing out standing without support. The longest she's stood without support is just a few seconds, though. I think she's an adrenaline junkie because she's fearless and is always doing crazy acrobatics that scare the shit out of me.
For the most part DS is crawling, but pretty much does "The Worm." I might be breaking out the cardboard since he's apparentely going to be a breakdancer. LOL
DS doesn't quite understand that he needs to use his knees to crawl, but he still tries! Our PT said he's doing great and he should be crawling soon if we keep doing what we're doing.
