Someone please tell me the CBE Digital with Weeks Estimator is dumb/inaccurate- BUMMER UPDATE

I should be 5 weeks today and I just got "1-2 weeks" with this test. Because I am neurotic and paranoid, I am convinced this means something is wrong/possible CP. Any thoughts? If this test is generally thought to be accurate please let me know that too. Thanks all.

UPDATE: I saw my doctor today; he thinks the pregnancy is ectopic.

I go back for another checkup/repeat beta later this week.

I have no personal experience but from everything I have heard, they are wildly inaccurate for weeks of gestation. relax momma, you're all good ;-)

They are not accurate they pretty much tell you pregnant or not...have you had a loss. If so you can ask your dr to do a couple hcg betas on you!

My lovely doctor is going to do an ultrasound on Monday to "see what's in there". In the meantime I have sworn off the HPTs and am trying to stay calm and relaxed. Ha ha to that. Calm and relaxed are not really in my nature. Thanks again for the support!

It tells the the number of weeks since ovulation. Not how far along you are. Since the average female ovulates on day 14. The CBE digital would show you at 1-2 weeks past ovulation when you miss your period, but you are about 4 weeks pregnant. I hope that makes sense.

The day I found out I was pregnant I took 2 different test, cheapo store brand and CBE digital test, got BFP on both, then remembered I had one of those week's estimator tests too and I wanted to see what it said. It said not pregnant! I was shocked at first and then so mad I threw it in the trash (just pretended I didn't see it). If it goes by ovulation, it was almost 2 weeks since ovulation, so I should have had a 1-2 weeks also. Had my 1st US soon after and had strong heartbeat, so I was relieved!
