Trouble TTC

Throat Punch Thursday!

Okay, so it's not completely Thursday yet, but I'm wide awake and have nothing better to do. I will reserve my TP for later tomorrow (or today, depending on your time zone), because I have a feeling I will need it.

Re: Throat Punch Thursday!

  • TP to my job. HR managed to incorrectly cancel my medical insurance as part of a routine accounting change. Of course, this is in the midst of the health plan's IVF case review which means the review will be delayed. Blood work, authorizations, and everything else has to wait until the coverage is reinstated.

Also, the 1.5 week business trip I have to take in mid-late September means our IVF cycle is likely delayed until October. I can't start next week because the ER and ET would fall during the trip, and I can't start next month because the US monitoring would start 2 days after I leave.

  • I would like to TP my dogs herniated disc. He's a Boston terrier with a ton of energy and needs to be on bed rest for a month!! They HOPE this will fix it but they don't know for sure- eventually he could become paralyzed if he keep reinjuring it. Now I need to crate him (never been in a crate before) and carry him up and down the stairs- poor boy. Not the stress I need during my final iui tww!

  • Thanks, all. Starting to see progress, and they've assured me that everything will be corrected in time for my next appointment tomorrow. What's really frustrating is that the system didn't trigger some sort of notification. I only found out because I was checking on a separate issue.

    @kkeglar13 Thanks :)

@Rumbera28 Agreed. The hours and conditions under which some hospital teams have to work is ridiculous.

Lurker joining in here, because, today, all the TPs are necessary.

First, I'd like to TP my ovaries for being slow and lazy.  I'm leaving for vacation this coming Wednesday and am finishing up my first cycle of injects before my first IUI.  I've been told all month that I have "plenty of time" to get the IUI before I leave but, of course, here I am with only 10 and 11 follies and less than a week to go before our trip!  So, my dose will be upped tonight and I'm keeping my FX for a trigger by Sunday.  But, probably won't happen, because, that's life.

Second, I'd like to *gently* TP my mother (whom I love dearly) for deciding that it was a good idea to text me this afternoon (fully knowing all that's going on) that "So&so's Pregnant!!".  Thanks, Ma!  I definitley needed that today!

  • TP the people I work with! I seriously can't handle one more stupid question or I am going to explode! People are so lazy, I'm in the middle of working ( front desk)

    person A: is person B here ?

    Me: I don't know.

Person A: will they be back later?

    Me: I don't know.

Person A: did they leave for the day?

Me: doubt it but I don't know.

Person A: I really need to ask them something.

Me: try their cell, or email them.( they get work emails forwarded to their cell)

Person A : oh well, when you see them let them know I am looking for them.

    Me:
  • TP my body and my RE's office. And the work deadline I'm coming up against because I can't concentrate.

But @BlueJoan, your pimple TP made me laugh (in an empathetic sort of way). I think I've had that same pimple!!!!! I'm not going to give you advice because I don't think doctors recommend doing what I did.... But it's gone now! Here's hoping yours will go away, too!

And everyone else.... Some of those TPs are way past laughing about! I'm especially sad to hear about the insurance-, job-, and health-system-related TPs. I hope things get better!

Yikes. I'm sorry :( Our berner has immunocompromised so he is constantly getting diarrhea and having accidents. It is so frustrating. Luckily, he is not allowed and has never tried to get on our bed.

  • @theholmanherd, she is an older dog, but completely letting loose while she is sleeping has never happened before! AND she rarely sneaks into bed (usually just if there is thunder), so this was like the perfect storm!

She does barf a lot though. :( This stuff is the best thing I've found for pet messes:

Is it too late to add a throate punch even though it's now Friday?  I didn't have one yesterday, I was actually having a pretty good week, feeling hopeful, getting the logical side of my brain to overtake the emotional one with the IF stuff.  Then, this afternoon, I get an email from one of the very few friends I've told about our struggles.  It was hard for me to tell this friend about everything because she and her husband (they're younger than us and haven't been together nearly as long) just had their second baby.  So anyway, this email is a picture of me holding her son when he was a few months old two years ago from that timehop app or whatever.  Seriously!  A few weeks after I tell you I can't get pregnant you send me a picture of me with your infant son?!?  WTF!  How does she think that's going to make me feel?!?

Sorry for the rambling, just really irritated!
