Threw the Little League World Series game on in the lobby at work... if you haven't followed, the Philadelphia Taney Dragons have a black girl pitcher who is absolutely killing it... she's actually on the Sports Illustrated Cover... so this conversation just happened

Receptionist: I feel bad that that girl's arm is going to be shredded by the time she's 30

Me: oh thats my girl!! (my family is from the Philly area)

Receptionist: Well i'm glad they put her on the Sports Illustrated cover...gives all them bitches and hoes a role model

Me: errrrrrrrr (the ef she just say???)

I'm sitting at my desk still in shock....

    definitely messed up... I kept trying to come up with reasons for her to say that thinking i misinterpreted but couldn't come up with anything for such an ignorant comment.

     She is an absolute role model for anyone and everyone, the Vegas team is amazing but I'm excited to see her pitch again this weekend :)
