How far along are you?  33 weeks and 3 days
Upcoming appointments? NST #4 tomorrow night... Had OBGYN appt yesterday and they found protein again in my urine.  BP was elevated as well.  So.....today I had blood work drawn to look at liver, kidney enzymes and blood platelets.  I am also collecting urine for the next 24 hours so I am glad to be at home today.  I know that my dr is looking at signs of pre-eclampsia.  GD is under control for now.
Any updates to share?  I will attach a photo....a friend of mine knows how much I love Mr. Rogers and how I had a spot in the nursery for a Mr. Rogers theme.  She bought me a special gift and sewed some special items for me.  I love them!
How are you feeling?  My feet are swollen, as well as my hands.  My husband has been giving me a foot rub at night which helps.  Getting nervous about  the arrival of the boys.  I think it's because my dr said she'd let me know this weekend if I can start work on Monday the 25th or not.  I might just be taking it easy at home prior to delivery instead of teaching.  I reviewed resumes this week and am set to interview 4 people as my long term sub next week.  I really want to at least meet the person who will be in my classroom and go over things prior to the 1st day of school.  If I needed to finish on 8/29 I could handle that....just not knowing who will be in my room is upsetting.  Almost decorating for the prom but not being able to actually attend.  Feeling torn about not being there for my students.  I know....My priorities are shifting, but it is still hard.

I get tired during the day and have needed to nap. I also can't seem to stay on one side lying down due to hip discomfort, but it's hard to move and reposition myself too.

QOTW: Since pregnancy dreams are so crazy and vivid, what has been your craziest/weirdest pregnancy dream?  The babies were crying and needed to be fed. I somehow slept through it and they were hungry. I woke up in tears.  Yup....you could say worries are creeping in.

@Allison7 congrats on your baby girl!!!

How far along are you? 28w1d

Upcoming appointments? I had my glucose test yesterday. . .they said they would call if I failed. But either way would talk to me about my results at my next appointment in 2 weeks. Also, meet with the Ob, which was good (the last 2 appts have been pathetic & I was not impressed with those docs). I'm measuring 32.5 weeks. It looks like someone forgot to get me on the u/s schedule to check on the growth of the twins. I have an u/s on Friday because they want those results before my next appt when they have to schedule my non-stress test and amniotic fluid check.

Any updates to share? Not really. Our plan is to put the cribs in the nursrey together this weekend. So we can have a semi-functional nursery. . .right now it is where we store all of the baby stuff and is a complete disaster (think junk room).

How are you feeling? Tired & sore. Tired all of the time, I feel like I could sleep 24 hours/7 days a week if hubs or the cats would let me. I have pain in my left and right hands (pinkie, ring & middle finger) very similiar to carpal tunnel (called ulnar tunnel) and it has been getting worse. They believe it is from pregnancy and should go away after birth (I sure hope so). It is worse at night and first thing in the morning, the good is it mostly goes away during the day, but  wakes me up at night. Finally, heartburn and I'm kicking myself because I forgot to ask the doctor what I can take besides tums.

  • I forgot about the QOTW!  I think that I posted about this on a PGAL check-in too, my fave dream so far- I was at a work party where we were doing a gift exchange and my gift was a strawberry pie.  And I was SO excited, but people who were choosing gifts after me kept stealing my pie and I got really ticked off and stormed out.  Don't mess with my sweets during pregnancy :-)  Lol.

How far along are you?  38w5d

Upcoming appointments? another one tomorrow. usual NST and they'll do a vag check to see if anything's happening yet.

Any updates to share?  We finally figured out which mother is staying with us when after LO arrives. I"m still working and I think people at work are forgetting that I could go at any time. They keep assigning me things to do! Ugh. Ooo, but on a baby note, I'm finally ordering some of the final things we wanted to get so I'm hoping they arrive before LO does!  But I still need to get the breast pump ordered through insurance so hopefully that comes quick.

How are you feeling?  lol...well, I'm uncomfortable all the time and irritable and everyone annoys me.  Don't talk to me, I don't want to talk to you, just go away - that's pretty much how I feel about everyone except DH! lol  So I'm very pleasant to be around right now.

QOTW: Oh boy. I'll spare you all the details but I had this one months ago that may have scarred me for life. Warning - it's really gross...To give you the highlights I had all these little bumps around my pubic area and when I squeezed them to make them pop, out came worms that crawled away and then got bigger and bigger and I was surrounded by them. Yuck. Shiver. Gag.  I still can't even think about that one.

  • Congrats @allison7!

Just wanted to give you all an update on my appointment today. LO is head down, I am 1cm dilated, and 80% effaced. I know this really doesn't tell us anything but I am happy with the progress. They are estimating LO to be at 5lbs 11oz.

I totally forgot to answer the QOTW. Mine was a dream I had the other day. My dream was that I went to use the bathroom and I looked down afterwards. I saw the baby in the toilet and started freaking out that I had done something to hurt her. Yes that is right I said her. I am team green but I've had quite a few dreams about a girl. I'd say about 90% of people think I am having a boy so its just weird. Anyways I started freaking out and as soon as I did, the baby started crying and came to life. It was really freaky and had me a bit off that day.
Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN.  IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! • How far along are you? 33 weeks today!
Upcoming appointments? NSTs and BPPs next week. Everything looked good this week, minus more contractions during the NST. Both boys are measuring on track
Any updates to share? I was having a lot of BH on Monday night, so we were pretty much ready to go if things didn't clear up. Drs weren't concerned since they weren't painful contractions, but it definitely made us get in the right mindset!
How are you feeling? Good, besides the contractions, but I'm trying to make a point of working with my feet propped up all the time and lie down once contractions start. We want them in there for a few more weeks!

QOTW: Since pregnancy dreams are so crazy and vivid, what has been your craziest/weirdest pregnancy dream? I had a really weird one where I was in labor and had one twin, then they wouldn't let me have the other one until the next day. Literally one baby out and one baby in for 24 hours. So odd...

    How far along are you?
    31 weeks 1 day
    Upcoming appointments?
next Friday I go for follow up on my GD. We went to class on Tuesday. The dietician was great. I feel really good going forward. DH & I got her card. After baby comes we'd like to set an appointment to eat healthier (we are both over weight). We had appointment with doc right after, he said my tracking and numbers have been good. I am really hopeful after that & the class.

    Any updates to share?
Nursery is finally finished!! We had started to renovated the 2nd bedroom in July. It's now painted and ready! DH is putting the dresser together right now! We are still waiting for crib to come in. I plan on washing somethings tomorrow & putting away. I am so excited!

    How are you feeling?
Better. We were in labor & delivery last week with contractions due to dehydration. Between better hydration and the new diet I feel world's better!

QOTW: 2 weeks ago I had this dream my husband left me late in pregnancy. I was devastated and didn't know why. He would still call and check in like normal but continually tell me the best thing about our marriage falling apart was his new cell phone plan. He would call and talk about his plan constantly. Then at the birth of our son he brought a new girlfriend in the delivery room!!! My mom was there and yelled at him and he had no idea why!

I woke up So upset. I told him about it and he laughed (while hugging me) and told me there was no reason to leave me, we just upgraded to smartphones the week before. He loves his phone plan! He such an assistant but he knows how to make me laugh lol!
Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.
  • Hi, ladies! I am so so late in updating because I had my twins! I was admitted two and a half weeks ago due to a short cervix, but then they realized i was having contractions that I wasn't feeling. So I stayed in labor and delivery for four days.. spent 60 hours on magnesium (omg that was awful) and then finally got the contractions to stop and was put on hospital bedrest.

About a week later they noticed my blood pressure spiked, and my liver enzymes got progressively worse.. so I ended up with severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. After the last set of bloodwork came back confirming the diagnosis, I was immediately prepped for a csection and, I had the babies two hours later. My husband barely made it up to the hospital in time- it was wild. It felt sort of like an out of body experience.. I just couldn't believe how fast it all went down.

I had to go back on the magnesium for 24 hours after delivery to get stable and wasn't able to see my babies during that time. It was awful! When I was finally wheeled to see them the next day, I think I was in shock that all of that had happened to me... I still cry when I think about it.

On the extremely bright side, I'm now stable and our little boy and girl were born! they were very early at 32 weeks- he was 4lbs 1 oz and she was 3lbs 5oz. both are doing well and just working on eating and growing in the NICU. They've been in the NICU for a week now and they anticipate they'll be there for another 3 weeks or so. I'm pumping round the clock for the them and it's exhausting but makes me feel like I'm doing something worthwhile to help them. We are so in love with our little munchkins. :)
