Best overnight diaper for a big boy (28 months). Using Huggies Overnight size 6 now.

DS is a great sleeper! He sleeps 11-12 hours overnight. I've been using Huggies Overnight size 6 diapers for awhile. He wears Pampers size 5 during the day. He is ~36" tall and weighs 32-33lbs. I haven't tried the overnight pull ups yet. He is leaking through the Huggies about every other night. We are not ready for potty training yet. What should I try next for overnight that will hopefully help prevent him peeing through the diaper?

They sell inserts to put in or you could use a heavy incontinece pad. I would also get a cloth diaper cover to help catch anything that escapes at night.

I think some toddlers just go through a leaky stage where they pee a lot at night. Can you cut back on fluids before bed?

We have used an insert for several months now as L has always leaked. They are called Select Kids Diaper Booster pads and they sell them at BRU. I have found that folding it in half and then putting it inside the diaper works best for us. GL!

We use Huggies Overnite size 6 as well. When he started leaking, we cut down on liquids for 1-2 hours before bed and that did the trick. We are PT in the daytime and that's helping at night too. But the others also have good suggestions about inserts.
