Oh sweet baby Jesus.

Not what I wanted to hear when I walked in the door.

He doesn't know for sure if it has a waterproof layer.... and he said it was one with two inserts, but I didn't have diaper laundry put away, and no pockets were stuffed. He said he just added an insert on top of what it had.

At least he didn't grab a disposable, I think.....

Should I wake him up to check? I think that might be better than having a huge mess in the morning, right?

ETA I checked. I couldn't help it. He used a simplex and said he put a bamboo insert in. Maybe he does pay attention after all? He didn't put a liner in, which will be fun when he poops before he wakes up, but it would have been way worse.

I would have been worried about the extra insert on top. Way to go YH.

I've used that exact scenario ON (with a stay dry liner) so he did good! (But my kids is not a heavy wetter and often wakes completely dry after 12 hours, so we're the exception).

Logan didn't even wake up, thank goodness!

I only have two MF inserts, and they are put away. He stuck a hemp doubler in. No leaks! Yay! And the poo plopped right out, which never happens. It's a good morning!

Way to go YH! The ON solution in our house is a prefold with hemp or bamboo insert & stay dry liner. DH has never attempted using a prefold/cover, so if I am out he will stuff a pocket with the hemp/bamboo insert along with the MF inser, which works ok.
