OT- Bulghur wheat

Okay, I just bought a new bag of bulghur wheat for this awesome recipe:

^^^Seriously.  Try this.  It's yummy and good for you.

Anyway, the only thing I ever use the bulghur wheat for is this and tabouleh.  I always end of throwing out like half of the bag.  Does anyone have some recipe suggestions for me?

  • I wonder if you could make that with pre-cooked quinoa?  And no feta.  And green bell peppers.  AKA I think I'll stick with my regular stuffed pepper recipe.  Haha.

    Mmmm.  Tabouleh.

Could you just treat it like you would couscous?  I do a cold couscous salad with cucumber, tomato, olives, feta, artichoke, chickpeas, and a balsamic or lemon vinaigrette.

I think it's also used in Lebanese Kibby.  But I've never made it myself.

Do you not like red peppers? I'm pretty sure it would work with all those subs.  You might not even need to precook the quinoa.  Or maybe just par-cook it.  I often skip the feta in this recipe.
  • Eww, no. Red peppers are disgusting.
