This is a weekly check-in for those who have lost an angel with a November EDD. If you would like to be added to our group, please reply to this message with your EDD and date and stage of loss. Please also tell us a little bit about yourself and your TTCAL journey so far. Those with loss dates in November are also welcome. As time goes on, it is only to be expected that there will be graduates, which means that there will at times be BFPs listed here. On weeks when we do have a BFP to celebrate, you’ll see a warning at the top of the page, which is provided so you’ll have the option of scrolling past the announcement if you need to. If you do get your BFP, please PM me so that we can congratulate you appropriately in the next check-in.

Hello Beautiful Ladies! Not much to report with TTC! I'm through week one of the 2WW I will likely test next Tuesday with FMU, but not quite sure how I feel about our chances. This past weekend was incredibly productive for DH and I! When we moved into our home nearly four years ago I was still living in Washington DC and DH moved all our stuff to Albuquerque. He set up our house where his office was in the one bedroom on the main level (there is a bathroom next to it), and upstairs is our master suite, there is a small bedroom that he made my office, a large bedroom he turned into a guest bedroom, and a bathroom for the two upstairs rooms to share which is directly next to the larger of the two rooms. When we were expecting in February and learned we would have welcomed multiples we decided quick it would have been ideal for the bedroom on the main level to actually be the guest room so  I would have somewhere comfortable to sleep when I no longer wanted to deal with the stairs, and we had a bedroom set away from ours so we could steel away when we really wanted alone time. This past weekend DH and I moved his office and combined it with mine in the small upstairs spare room, moved the guest bedroom downstairs, and made the large upstairs bedroom available to hopefully one day turn into a nursery. It was a ton of work, but so great to get completed!! This upcoming weekend we get to clean the carpets

Hi @DenaMaree thanks for the check in and good luck with the TWW.  I hope the next week flies by and I'm glad you are making progress on the house!

AFM: I am now 6dpo and am starting to get the POAS itch.  Our timing was pretty bad due to the trip, only -3 and -4, so I am trying (and failing) not to get my hopes up.  I am leaving here monday which is 12 dpo and my normal LP is usually 12 days so I will at least test monday AM if my temp is still up since if it is negative I will do some airport drinking. I hope I can at least wait till sunday though.  My TWW plans consist of working, knitting and reading (and bumping).  I can't wait to be done with this job.  The job itself is fine but being out of town in a small town for 2-3 weeks at a time sucks!

Thanks for the checkin @DenaMaree‌! Sounds like you were busy tis weekend, what I wouldn't give for all the house space you have! I moved into my husband's condo about a year ago and we have about 900sq feet...it's definitely a squeeze and all our wedding gifts are going into storage for now. House prices are so expensive here, a 1,500 sq ft house we're looking at is $749,000!!!! Other than that, married life is great, but we miss our St Lucia villa! AF is due Sept 3rd-ish...I still haven't figured out what my new cycle is. 1st month was 31 days, 2nd was 28. So now I'm in the 2 WW, so FX. If nothing this month, definitely back to charting and OPK next cycle. Hope everyone has a great week

@tlc35 I so hope Monday comes quickly for you and you get a wonderful surprise when you take your test Being away for two to three weeks sounds like torture!! I am assuming DH doesn't get to join you? My DH travels a ton with his work, but fortunately he usually gone for a few days and then home for a week or two before he leaves again. As a Nanny I don't do any traveling with my family, but I'm excited when they travel because it gives DH and I the chance too! Enjoy your 2WW time and I'll look forward to your update Sun or Mon

@scrang74 I can completely understand how you feel! We were in a 880 square foot place for five years in Washington DC and wanted so bad to purchase a investment place but couldn't justify their housing prices. Perhaps your dream house will one day soon go on the market for a reasonable price!! Good luck with your 2WW!! When will you test?

My HSG showed that my tube was blocked. I met with a doc on Monday (along with blood work and u/s) and he said maybe your tube just spasmed (and it's not actually blocked) or it is really blocked. So he asked if I want to try to unblock it or go straight to IVF. Having talked to DH before the appointment I knew he wanted me to try and unblock it, so once AF shows I have to make an appointment with an Interventional Radiologist. I'm not super excited about it, but since we don't have IVF insurance coverage we might as well try it.

As for DH's semen analysis, it went well except he had abstained for more than 7 days and apparently that isn't good. Whatever.

QOTW: I can't remember my craziest, but when I'm KU they get very vivid and I have like 5 a night and I remember them all.

@mara Ugh, sorry you weren't able to get more clarity!! Hopefully you learn there isn't actually any blockage or it's easy to clear up!! You'll be in my thoughts!

Hi ladies! Thanks for the check-in @DenaMaree, keeping my fingers crossed for you and @TLC35.

I had a great time in Tahoe with the exception of AF coming on Saturday, I already had a feeling it was coming so it wasn't a surprise. One of the girls I was on the trip with started on the same day, so we were able to commiserate together. We had all the food and all the drinks! Tahoe is a really beautiful place and I can't wait to go back.

DH and I are supposed to go to a baby shower on Saturday, but I'm still trying to decide if that's something I'm strong enough to do. I was due 3 weeks after her so it definitely stings. I feel like I can handle it, but I don't want to show up and then lose my shit. I guess I'll sit on it for the rest of the week and then decide...

@littlemrsw I went to a shower on my due date earlier this month. I chose not to play any of the games and sat near the desserts with my mom so I could stuff my face. Good luck deciding. It's so hard.

I need to call my doc back about the thyroid test. I was under the assumption originally that the test was including with the blood, but it doesn't seem like that's correct and I'm guessing it wasn't ordered. AF should come some time this weekend.My boobs hurt soo bad. It's crazy I don't remember this pre-loss. What else? Our construction crew is back at it in full force on our addition and I think siding is supposed to go up this weekend. Exciting stuff.

@sarcaztic10 I feel that way when my mom visits too, though she lives closer and is able to come for a 1-night visit more often...I always feel like I needed her to stay longer.  {{hugs}}

@mara005 {{hugs}} I don't have any experience with blocked tubes but want to offer as many hugs as I can.

@littlemrsW So many {{hugs}}, we all know where you are coming from and if you don't feel up for the shower then definitely skip it.  Better to skip than have a melt down.

@littlecookie I'm sure your house is going to look great!  FX for the thyroid test.

AFM:  I'm currently on the road for work, which is both good and bad.  Good because I really needed to get this part of my client's project behind me.  Bad because DH and I have so much going on right now - DH is busy at work, I feel I'm more busy (than he is) at work, we're trying to buy a different house and are stuck in a negotiation struggle with the current owners, and I'm on the road during all of this!  We had horrible timing this month, which wasn't surprising to either of us, and I've come to terms with it because I know that I will be under less stress (hopefully) in a month, two at the most, and would feel better about timing if my stress level is under control.

QOTW:  The strangest dream I've ever had happened to be the same night my dad left.  I eavesdropped on a conversation between my parents before he actually left, I was 11 and sick with the flu at the time.  I went back to bed after hearing their argument and had a dream that the roof on our house had opened up and bricks were falling down on top of my bed, while I was in it.  I told my mom about it the next morning before I knew the exact fate of their situation.  I don't remember a lot about this time in my life in general, but I remember the conversation between my parents before I went to bed, I vaguely remember the dream, and my mom remembers my recollection of the dream vividly.

AFM: DH & I had a long talk after AF arrived early making IUI #3 a bust; we've agreed to do one more natural IUI before moving on to meds and injectables again and I think for my own piece of mind I'm going to stop running during my 2WW. This is something that kinda bothers DH, because running means so much to me, but I need to know I did everything possible to give this a chance to work. We'll go next week for IUI #4, so here's hoping. As for the roommate situation, even my therapist thinks I need to ask her to leave so I am going to have a long talk with DH about it and figure out how to have that conversation. 

QOTW: I have so many strange dreams, all the time, that I don't even know where to start to answer this one!

@Feegan and @HMR11913‌ Yeah, house prices in Los Angeles are a literal nightmare. The area we're looking in is "up and coming" and houses need work. If you want an established neighborhood with fairly turnkey houses and not an hour's commute from your job, you're looking at about $1.2 million! It's sick and I don't know how people buy around here...they can't all be actors or directors!! 

@MrsKush Sorry to hear there's so much stress for you guys right now. Hoping you get spme quiet time together soon!
 

****Pregnancy and child mentioned below (not mine)****

So I had a meltdown last night...my cousin emailed me (thankfully so i didn't see it on FB!)last night to tell me she's PG and due in Feb. I quickly counted back and she conceived right around the time I lost my pregnancy. I've been doing really well lately with the emotions of the MC, but this hit me like a truck - I was crying and wailing that it wasn't fair. She and I are the exact same age (40) and she also has a 10 mth old - I am feeling so jealous and incredibly sad. My DH was saying the right things and rubbing my back, so I was able to calm down. I know it's another stage of grieving, so thanks for listening/reading ladies.

@HMR11913 It looks like a bunch of us are having timing issues due to work.  It is really frustrating.  I'm sorry and I get the time slipping away thing as well.

@feegan Good luck with your upcoming IUI.  I hope it works and you don't need to move on to meds.

@littlecookie I would definitely get tested for thyroid! high or low thyroid levels are a lot more common then I realized but can cause many problems when TTC and especially when your finally expecting!

@MrsKush1014 So great hearing from you! We can all relate to life getting crazy busy, hope things go well, but slow down some for you! Good Luck with your home purchase!! It's great that you have come to terms with lettting things settling down before going full force with TTC. Having both stresses would be hard on a person!

@HMR11913 I can only imagine how big Thor is getting Sorry your having a tough time with your emotions and the struggles with TTC. Three times is great, so hope you caught that egg and you have a nice 2WW! I know the frustrations of DH's work getting in the way with wanting to persue a TTC journey. My DH travels a ton and it's not easy making sure he doesn't schedule trips around my ovulation!! Especially if it's a conference he has to go to. Hope DH's schedule understands your needs and straightens itself out

@Feegan Big Big hugs and many prayers as you prepare for your next go at IUI! I agree and understand how important it is to do all you can do, and give up anything necessary to give yourself confidence you've done all you can to conceive. As it is, all you can do is what you have control over. Perhaps you can find something special to do at the time you normally would have run to help with the transition. Good luck with your converstation with DH and your roommate. I know they are always tough discussions to have to have, but I am glad you are at peace with knowing its the right thing for both you and your DH!

@scrang74 Hugs for your too! Sorry about your meltdown, but you are SO entitled to have it!! Everything you are feeling is completely normal. Take everything one day at a time and separate yourself as much from her and the situation as you need to! It's all about you and what your comfortable with!!

@scrang74 Big {{hugs}}.  My brother and his wife also conceived at the same time as my loss.  I was also starting to get to a good place again and their news threw me back down to ground zero.  It sucks so much, life really isn't fair.   =((

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks. I've been lurking when I can but haven't had time to be very active. We moved to our new house this weekend and have been swamped getting the new place together and cleaning the old place and getting it ready for the tenant. I'm absolutely in love with the new house though, it's twice the size of our old place (which was a duplex) so it's quite the upgrade for us. We are going to have to buy more furniture to fill it up!

So I took my last BCP on Wednesday! Should get AF in the next couple of days and then I'll be off the bench! Planning to dust off my BBT and start temping again.

Are you planning on keeping it as a rental long-term? We are thinking of keeping ours as a rental for at least the next 5 years or so, maybe longer. It's a lot of work but a great investment. Hope you find good renters quickly!

Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts! @MrsKush1014‌ How are you handling your situation? I'm having a hard time even responding to her email...I don't know what to say. I don't want to diminish her happiness or make it all about me, but at the same time, I don't think I can spend time with her. She's going to know something is up if i just ignore it (its HUGE news), so I guess I'm just looking for some advice as to how to proceed. Should I just be honest and say it hurts too much right now, or suck it up and celebrate with her? So confused...

@raelynn71109‌ We're planning on renting long term, which DH is more excited about than I am. I know long term it'll be fine but I'd rather just get rid of the property....

@scrang74‌ I'll PM you hopefully in the morning...I want to take the time to review things before I give any advice. He called me to announce and then everything after that was via email. I'll try to give you a timeline in the morning of how things went (for the most part they were very understanding) and where we stand today. I can say right now that I know how hard it was for my brother to tell me their news...I could hear it in his voice and anyone else who knew seemed to side with him (such as our mom).

@scrang74‌ I'm in a similar situation. My stepsister is pregnant. She went off birth control the same week I found out about my MMC and got pregnant her first cycle. She already has a 3 year old. She told me via text (by sending me a picture of her son holding her positive pee stick). This was 10 days after I had my second D&C for retained tissue. I got the text at night and broke down crying. She knew about my losses and was pretty insensitive about the way she told me, but I still love her and was happy for her. I waited a day, until my emotions had calmed down a little, and sent her a text back congratulating her. I try to keep the conversations about her pregnancy to a minimum and only on days that I can handle it. Luckily, I think she finally picked up on the fact that I am struggling and she doesn't talk about her pregnancy unless I bring it up.
Hopefully your cousin is understanding and respectful of your feelings!
