I'm 11 and a half weeks now. I can't wait for the 2nd trimester since the nausea and fatigue are getting old. Last night, I had trouble sleeping because of nausea, and this morning, I woke up to it. I don't think I'll be eating much protein today!
I'm glad to have gotten through the last week. It was pretty challenging to do anything with the fatigue and nausea, add to that contractors going in and out of the house and I just gave up trying. I think the house will be back to normal in a couple of days and we can go back to being civilized.
@hooligans4 Sorry your house got flooded. Hope things will return to normal for you soon.
@hooligans4 so sorry about your house:(.....I'm 18 weeks! Feeling pretty good. My mom had her knee replaced and staying at rehab facility, so I have been doing a lot of running back and forth. The high risk OB decided not to give me any p17 shots or suppositories. They are just gonna keep a close eye and if see anything then I could start them. I go back 25th. My son starts preschool for couple hrs twice a week at my church. I don't know but it is breaking my heart and maybe the hormones? Lol Thoughts and Prayers are with all you ladies!
Thanks @Samuelismomma and preschool is a great thing for kids. It gives them the opportunity to play with kids their own she in a structured environment. It may be hard on you and him in the beginning but you have to just stay strong and leave him there. Even if he cries you need to leave and most likely he will stop in a few minutes. Miss you and glad you and little miss are doing well.
@hooligans4 thanks Hun! Actually I think he will be fine, he loves other kids. I know he has to go all our neighbors are elderly and he needs it socially. I was raised around adults only and struggled in elementary school. But my heart is killing me! I know to parents are involved I think the first day and I'll be fine....miss you too!
Hey ladies. Big hugs to all that need them. Not much going on. 13 wks. Have my 2nd OB appt next Monday so I'm really hoping we can hear the HB on the Doppler! I still haven't heard it. That's pretty much it. I've been leading a pretty boring life! I blame that on the m/s
You ladies take care! Still lurk
Oh @Samuelismomma " he is going to love it!! Take advantage of the time he is there for yourself!

Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
Heya I didn't post last week b/c I had nothing new to report and I was super sick and in a crappy mood all week! So, I wanted to spare you all that!
This week is going a little better, I have afternoon/evening sickness, I rarely feel sick in the morning anymore (unless I wait too long to eat -- but I have to wait ~1hr after I take my thyroid pills before I can eat breakfast). Still have 0 energy! I went out yesterday for my 10wk ultrasound and met a friend for lunch afterward, I was so exhausted when I got home, I barely made it up the stairs, but it was like 94 and humid, I think that drains me too.
10 week U/S went well, the baby was huge (vaginal U/S) compared to 3 weeks ago and heard the heartbeat - 176bpm! I also did my Mat21 blood work, so looking forward to the results in about 2 weeks. @BeckyP005 - I'm excited for you to hear the heartbeat too! It's so reassuring, I cry every time.
Sending hugs & well wishes to everyone! Ready for you to join us on the other board!
ME: 38, DH: 42, stopped BCPS 1/2013, TTC #1 2/2013, AMH 0.4, started acupuncture: 7/2013, BFP: 10/07/2013; MC 10/15/2013 @ 7 wks (natural), focused on health issues for 7 months. TTC again: 6/2014, 2nd round Letrozole, BFP 7/7/2014!!! --- EDD 3/18/2015!!!
I am 7 weeks now and threw up for the first time yesterday. I successfully kept it under control with diet and meds until then. I have a constant feeling in my stomach that I need to burp, but nothing fixes it. I've tried foods, zantac, tums, zofran, and now I'm starting a strong (prescription-strength) antacid and a second nausea med tonight. I gained weight rapidly the first few weeks because I was pushing carbs and dairy to keep symptoms under control. Now I'm starting to lose weight, but not for good reasons. I'm too tired to exercise and I still eat horrible foods. I just get full so quickly that I'm not taking in enough calories.
And I'm stealing a term from someone else on the pregnant over 35 board - baby blump. I don't know if it is bump or bloat, but it is there and it requires maternity pants.
I was unsure about my dates since this BFP came immediately after a loss. I had my due date down to either 4/3/15 or 4/7/15, based on tracking CM (which did some weird things that month). I had my first U/S last week and they measured my due date as 4/5/15. So, whatever.
I haven't felt as connected to this one as the first one, but seeing the heartbeat was just as awesome as the first one! I know I will feel more connected as time goes on, but right now I just want to feel better! Can't wait for the 2nd trimester.
Hey ladies! I hope you are all well. I'm 9w3d today and am finally starting to feel myself again. Last week was a bit rough.. .no definitive morning sickness, per se, just feeling crappy all day... like a hangover that won't go away. Couldn't get comfortable, trouble sleeping, etc. I have found that, for me, eating small, snacky type meals was better than trying to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Just constantly snacking...
Had my first OB and u/s appt friday. Heard a nice strong heartbeat at 164bpm. Baby was measuring (at that time) 5 days past my due date, so they left it as is.
So all is well here! I'm headed down to West Palm Beach (Florida) for the weekend to visit friends and watch in jealousy as they drink beer & wine. Fun fun! I'm hoping you all join us soon on the "other side" and in the meantime, have a drink for me!
Hi ladies,
I'm 25wks and doing well. I managed to break some ribs 2 weeks ago from the force of daily vomit combined with a summer cold/cough. It was rough but I'm feeling better now. I finally feel the girls moving around (anterior placenta so it cushions their kicks). I finally started buying some stuff for the nursery. Glucose test is 9/2..

Did you literally break some bones from the chest exertion??? @Mrs.McIrish That's awful! Glad to hear you're better now.
Stress fractures, not "break in half " type. I didn't know it was possible either!! But I guess the stress of throwing up daily for months plus a bad couch was just too much. You can't actually X-ray while pg so it was a clinical assessment versus definite diagnosis... It heals on its own- no actual treatment but of course no pain meds!! It is soooo much better now.

It's awesome to hear (er, read) everyone's updates! I'm going on 30 weeks. Can you even believe it??? I still can't. I passed my first glucose test on Monday with flying colors, which was nice. But, we also found out that I've apparently had an asymptomatic yeast infection for weeks. How is that even possible?? I guess my cervix is just a swollen red mess. Anyway, I've been on meds, but they don't seem to be helping. I'll probably have the midwife test again when i go in next week (appts are every two weeks now - shocking!). I'm also anemic, again -gah, I can't seem to keep iron levels up and it makes me crazy.
Otherwise, I've finally started feeling better in the third tri. Looking forward to meeting this little girl. She's super active - and head down!
