PSA: Episodes for new siblings

Just FYI for the STM+ who are looking for shows about new babies for their toddlers/prek kids. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is having a whole week with episodes about different issues when a new baby comes. Not sure if they're online yet, but they should be on your local PBS station.

Yesterday was an hour special about preparing for and meeting the new baby. Today is "Time for you, and Baby too", about having to wait while mom/dad deals with the baby. It's DD2's favorite show (she'll be 4 in a few weeks) and the strategy songs they have are useful for DS, who has ASD.

DS loves Daniel Tiger. He's only 20 months so he doesn't quite get it but It's good to try and see what he can catch.

Gosh darn it! I can't get my kid to watch Daniel Tiger.  I heard rave reviews about the potty training episode, too.  Sounds like it would be a great show for her to watch... lots of good lessons.

Peg+Cat had a potty training episode this morning, if she'd be more interested in that.

I saw the 1 hour baby one on the pbs kids app yesterday!

I love Daniel Tiger and most of pbs. Much better than whiny Caillou.

I'll have to look for them on-line.  Sweet Pea like Daniel Tiger, Peanut doesn't care for TV yet.

Thanks for posting! DD (and I) loves Daniel Tiger! His songs and lessons have really helped with teaching her lots of things. She even told me the other day when I said I was frustrated "when you feeling frustrated step back ask help" haha! I'll be looking for it online, since we don't get pbs or Sprout (only see it on netflix).
