I know this has been addressed, but that everyone is different so I'm wondering what others braxton hicks feel like. This morning I woke up with such sharp cramps on my lower left side that have, within the hour, spread to being fully across my lower abdomen and into the left side of my back and they HURT LIKE HELL! I was late for work and doubled over half the morning AND am not able to get into my OB until later today. I didn't notice my stomach getting hard like others have discussed, just lots of stabbing pain. I used my home Doppler and was at least able to hear a good strong heartbeat
but it lasted for about an hour. I'm sitting now and it's faded for a few minutes but starting to cramp up again. Probably just one of the million things that can go on during pregnancy...but wondered if anyone else had experienced this.
UPDATE: I guess I'm fine....SURE DIDNT FEEL FINE. She said it was RLP and that it's common for it to feel intense and spread to your lower back like it did. This pain woke me up and lasted for a solid hour:| OH WELL...thanks for all the well wishes and concerns, ladies ![]()
If that was RLP...I'm not at all interested in child birth. No thanks.

Re: Cramping! >:| *UPDATE* :)
**Follow your heart, but take your brain with you**
of my belly is painful and some menstrual-like cramps in my thighs. They usually last about 30 minutes. I've noticed drinking water helps a lot. Just in case call labor and delivery. Feel better and keep us posted.
