nwmr: stride rite guarantee

Does stirde rite have a guarantee?  I thought I remembered them telling me something about their shoes were basically indestructible and if there was any problems they'd replace them.  DD got sandals for her birthday in March, so she's been wearing them 4-5 months.  They have straps that go over the top of her foot and they're practacally falling off, the top of the sandal, where her food rests, is pulled up and breaking by the straps.  We're headed to the mall today and I'm just wondering if it's worth it to stop in the store.

If you have the receipt I would.  Their shoes are excpensive that should not have happend

I'd stop in. DD has had several pairs, worn for several months, and all are in perfect condition to be passed on to her younger cousin. I would not expect them to fall apart. Even if you don't have a receipt I'd stop in "to let them know that this line of shoes appear to be defective". Even if I didn't ask for or expect a refund or exchange, they might surprise you.
