Ten Things...any ten things...give it to me

1.) Dr appointment yesterday...he decided to go down slightly on my dose of synthroid...I hope this is a good thing.

2.) We had a new baby sitter yesterday and she was great

3.) We have another one starting tonight

4.) We may need a third in the rotation depending on availability...they are both in college at our local CC and didn't have their schedules yet when I interviewed them and now I am worried about availability during the week.

5.) I am gone Monday-Thursday next week and taking a vacation day on Friday because V's daycare is closed

6.) I got a very random $150 GC from my boss on Friday saying job well done on a very small project I did for our team...I was surprised.

7.) I have 2 big meetings today in DC and was on tap to facilitate a dinner in Tysons tonight but that was cancelled...I am not sad about that at all

8.) I need to bite the bullet and order this furniture I am looking at for our kitchen.  We haven't had a kitchen table in 2 years since we moved in. We have a dining table but no kitchen table. It is going to change the room dramatically.

9.) I need to get moving and get some work done before my 8am call...I also need to be getting showered and ready to go to DC...but I am bumping

10.) I just heard V coughing upstairs...I don't like the sound of that.

Its been a few weeks for me.  Hi, ladies!

1.  E hasn't been sleeping well the past couple of nights.  She tosses and turns and whimpers in her sleep.  I hope that its teeth and not because she is getting sick.

2.  It think that its teething - she's been drooling up a storm.  Her chin is a mess from being wet all of the time.  Teething sucks.

3.  I've decided that I don't want to work in my current job any more - after three years of hanging in there and waiting for my boss to retire.  She finally announced...and now I don't want it.  I'm over the commute.  I'm over the stress and drama.  And I'm over the poor pay.  I've had one raise in the 7 years that I've been here.

4.  I am addicted to home parties - like Pampered Chef, Thirty-One, etc.  Last night I went to a Jamberry party and got my nails did.  New obsession?

5.  E and I are traveling to western PA this weekend for my BFF's bridal shower.  I am so excited to celebrate with her.

6.  My parents just got a new puppy - black lab - for me to 'Oooo' and 'Ahhh' over.

7.  Grilled salmon with Thai basil cucumber sauce for dinner tonight.  Nom.  Nom.

8.  I love my shoes that I am wearing today.  They are black and white loafers.  But they kind of make me feel like a pimp.

9.  DH started back to school this week and I am so happy.  I hate his summer job.  I am ready for him to be home more often.  He isn't as happy.

10.  This summer hasn't been too hot and miserable but I love the fall.  Fall and football are perfection.  So happy to see September.

1. As I said in spam, I think LO STTN.
I could get used to it.
2. I was waiting for her wake up, up late with DS, and woken middle of a.m. by DD so I did not STTN
3. I think the best gift ever would be 36 hoursish in a nice hotel to myself - with a king sized bed and a massage in room.
4. The weather this summer has been a little too cool - more pool weather, please - before the pools close not after, lol.
5. I like fall, but am NOT ready for it or the school/new schedule it brings.
6. I LOVE the ages my kids are at. 1,3, and 5 are so fun. Love love love.
7. There must be a bald faced hornet nest in the neighborhood - we can't find it, but I can't let the kids outside anymore because of them, fudge. We will be cooped up soon enough, darn it!
8. Said hornets have put LOs' bday party on hold
9. DH's responsibilities changed (back) at work again and he is basically doing 3 jobs for the pay of 1...and he is tired all the time.
10. This also means he will be traveling all week all the time so my fall schedule is screwed.
11.(I have to put down my thoughts while my phone/tb let me type) I was going to take the kids for pictures today - so each one of them cut/scraped/bruised their face yesterday. Doh! I want to get LO's picture while it's just her front teeth to capture her at 1. Fingers crossed...

1) Finals week...I have two 5-7 page papers due as well as a few other smaller assignments.  I am so ready to be done school.

2) I started making these sailor knot headbands for Addie a while ago but she won't leave them on her head.  Just to test out the waters, I posted them on a local FB buying/selling page and listed them as $10 a piece.  I have 14 orders!!  Psyched to be able to make some money.

3) Adeline has started sleeping through the night entirely again, but she wakes up between 7-7:30.  It doesn't sound bad, but I was so used to the 9am wake up time!

4) Heading to a beautiful public gardens/conservatory this afternoon with mommy friends!

5) I look like I'm going through puberty again with this acne.  My first pregnancy I had awesome, clear skin...I hate this.

6) Counting down the days until our vacation in St. John. 

7) I think I might have left my computer open and DH read a post on the F15 board with me complaining about him not helping with Addie and the house as much as I need him to.  He has been AWESOME this week and told me to tell him if he isn't doing enough or if there is anything he can do to help me.

8) I'm loving this cooler summer weather but dreading the winter which is supposed to be extra snowy and harsh this year. 

9) I ordered some cloth diapers to start using with Adeline while we're at home because I'm looking for ways to save money with 2 kids.  I still don't really understand how to use them.

10) I have 4 orchids blooming all at once right now, woohooo!

2. It's so nice outside today that so far I've been able to keep all the windows open :-bd

4. So far our new accountants seem to be awesome and it's cool that they communicate through e-mail, unlike our past accountant :-/

7. My LO is so darn cute but he hasn't been sleeping well and it's making me very tired (:|

8. I had to kick my dog out of the bed this morning because he would.not.stay.still, poor pup I feel like he's always getting the shaft nowadays :o3

9. I really wish I was going on a tropical vacation :P

10. I haven't read a whole book in two months. It sucks, but I feel like I can either keep up with the board or read a book. I'd rather catch up with you all. There's not enough time in the day :!!

1. I have this nagging feeling that Peanut was just waiting for us to know that something was wrong and that she isn't going to be around much longer.

2. #1 makes me cry all the time randomly and it's frustrating.

3. I was disappointed when AF made an appearance a few days ago.

4. I finally have a daily babysitting/nanny job It doesn't pay enough but we're putting the money towards savings.

5. Ten things are hard today.

6. The kid I'm watching insists that Flash on his lunchbox is Captain America. It's cute.

7. Peanut is not handling her new food well. I hope this passes soon.

9. Can't handle my clingy baby today. Everything is setting me on edge and I know it's just stress.

10. Maybe the park is a good idea.

1. I haven't done one of these in a while.

2. My head hurts, boo. 

3. MH's new company is doing great!

4. I am headed to AZ next week for work, yay! 

5. I will be away from DS for the first time (more than 1 night) next week.  See #4, boo. 

6. I'm so excited for football to start!

7. DS was up from 12:30-4:45 the night before last. I'm still recovering. 

8. I really need to go for a run today, but I just don't know if it will happen.  See #2 and #7.

9. A lady I work with brought me some apples from her farm! I'm so excited to try them. 

10. @Byjove03  Orange is my favorite color too!

1. I did not sleep well at all. Couldn't fall asleep. I hate insomnia.

2. Hubby just called me that he's getting transfered to another store for his job. More hours & more money!

3. I'm starving.

4. I have some lamb marinating in the fridge. I've never eaten lamb before & I'm kinda excited about it!

5. I hate curry.

6. At the moment jae looks like a little zoo animal pacing back and forth in his crib lol

7. I cleaned the whole house yesterday by myself.

8. I need to do laundry. I hate laundry. My laundry room is a soul sucking black hole that I don't want to go near right now.

9. I have something to do literally ever day of the week. I miss just lounging around but then I complain that I'm bored. It's a lose lose.

10. I've discovered that Jae likes showers! As long as I'm holding him he loves it and plays with the water. Bath time just got waaaay easier.

TheLittleRedM, what food is Peanut on?  Is it a kidney special diet?  I had a kitty who was in renal failure...supported him through the disease for about two years before it was time to ease his suffering.  He refused to eat the expensive vet diet that was just for kidneys issues.  A vet friend of mine recommended any food that had less than 10% protein as protein is was makes the condition worse (from my understanding).  I knew all of the different >10% flavors of the different brands by heart and would rotate them so that he wouldn't stop eating.  I guess that with kitties, they associate the not feeling well with the food and don't know that its actually the illness that makes them nauseous.  My friend said that more animals die from not eating than the actual kidney issues.

@rondokye She is on the brand of kidney failure diet food that the clinic sells. She seems to like it well enough. She scarfs it down Lol I just think it's upsetting her stomach right now as she's never dealt well with diet changes. I've also been looking into supplement stuff to add and I think I'm going to be adding fish oil and maybe this one: https://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-kidney-disease

She has chronic kidney failure so I know she's eventually going to die because of it. I just hope that when it's time, she either passes quickly or lets us know soon enough so that she's not in a lot of pain.

1. @lancomechica‌ I totally stall out on home improvements too. Part of it is not liking to spend big sums of $. The other part is not liking to make decisions.

2. @lizabethann06‌ umm I can hardly get two kids out of the house by 9 without forgetting things, so you are doing amazing.

3. @Spartanmomma‌ so much of what you write resonates. I can't go into details but it is hard with 2 kids and 2 demanding jobs.

4. I love fall.

5. But I fear the crazy 10-hour days about to commence.

7. DH is replacing the shades in the nursery which is good because they were cheap roller shades but he didn't get the new ones hung and so street light and noise is filtering in at bedtime. I anticipate crappy sleep. Ok so I asked if he could hang a sheet and he said he would hang the shades ...but that meant having lights on thereby extending bedtime. The east facing window is still shadeless. Hope it is cloudy or I will be up @5.

8. @Byjove03‌ I am totally too picky for stitch fix.

9. I am kinda annoyed at daycare. Today when dropping off S, his teacher said I think you will go down to preK for breakfast. me: I guess he is transitioning this week?
Would have been nice to hear about it in about it in advance.

10. Funny statement by S:
He asks for something. I say yes as soon as I am done with x.
He asks again and starts whining. I say in a minute honey, I can only do one thing at a time.

He says. "Yea. You're not an octopus."

Bonus 11: had a good run today. It is finally getting easier.
