DH LOVED his first day if the new job. He was all excites to have his very own cubical. After working in a grocery store for nine years this is exciting!! Haha
He is just amazed at how awesome this company is. And he was like "They have a room for women who pump! Its not the bathroom." I already love this company!
He actually gets a half an hour lunch and can have a drink with him all day. Most of you are probably like "Ooh wow..so exciting 8-| " But if you knew the company he comes from..it is exciting for him! Haha
He just kept talking and talking about it. Lol and I think it is awesome that if there is a snow emergency they will cancel work.
It just sounds so amazing compared to what he had before.
Tl;dr DH had a fantastic first day at the new job.

FfTC: I am hoping my co worker is willing to give me some of her weekly hours. Im not sure that she needs it as much as she just does it for something to do. :-??
Originally when I was told about the job I was told I would have 40 hours a week..then it turned to part time at 20 hours a week. Which was okay. I was also working at job #2 a little..but for the summer I can't really work #2 and now that fall is coming I dont want to go back there. It id a soul sucking pit of hell.
So as bad as it may sound, I hope the other lady quits or decides she wants to work less. I want her hours damnit! And I actually like this job!
Hospital bills and wanting to buy a house...expensive, yo.

I am going to fill up spam page up mostly myself. Ha.
I hate apartment living. Banging noises and shit. Just heard some banging and thought DH was coming downstairs. No. Okay what the hell are the neighbors doing now?!
Oh...wait. That was thunder. Haha
It has been raining and storming for most of the last 24 hours. And a lot of downpouring rain.

@dragonmom35 My BFF is pregnant due Christmas day. She has thyroid issues too. For whatever reason her doctors can't seem to get anything straight for her. Shes back and forth all the time.
I mean doctors are great but sometimes I just ~X(

The only reason I liked my cubicle was because I could hang things on the walls.
My SIL didnt tell anyone she was pregnant until she was 38wks for not 1 but 2 pregnancies. And only did so because she needed MIL to watch her other 4 and then 5 kids while they were in the hospital.
My friend (ex roomie) popped out a kid yesterday and apparently everyone was as shocked as I was. She Didn't tell anyone. Why? I have noooo effing idea. A baby just showed up on our news feeds like "Hey guise, I'm here! ". My other ex roommate and I are still in shock. She Did the same shit to us in college. "Uh sorry guys I can't drink I'm 20 weeks pregnant." Da fuq? :-O
LO only woke up screaming twice last night. I gave her Motrin at 11 and she was good till 6. Now she's in bed with us sleeping.
Yesterday was my first day at work and a long one. I think I'm going to use @casey78 marathon Monday to describe it. It went well and while it's a lot of prepping to teach three courses, I think I'm really going to enjoy it.
I went back to work yesterday after my glorious summer off and it was a LONG day!! I was wiped out from working and then running around to different activities and was in bed before 9 last night. I set my alarm 10 minutes early to try to get up and be productive before my kids woke up but Eli got up super early (like before 5:30). He won't let me out of his sight or he screams. I just wanted 10-30 minutes to do work in my home office and get ready before needing to hold him 24/7.
So the tl;dr is that I'm back at work and probably MIA for awhile until I can get my schedule worked out to fit everything in. And I'm not supposed to use my phone at work so mobile bumping won't be happening. I'll miss you girls!!!
Last night C went to "sleep" before 8:30, but I didn't get him down until almost 11. He did at bedtime what he has been doing recently MOTN. I couldn't bear the thought of having him in our bed for another entire night, so I ended up laying down with him on the floor of his room, and after I laid there for 15 minutes, he slept there from 11 to almost 5am. When he woke up at 5 I went and laid down with him again and he went back to sleep for almost 2 hrs.
whatever works at this point. This is why I am considering the toddler bed.
Also...survey revisions done and IRB modification sent in this am before 7:30...love jumping on the computer in the morning and hammering out an hour of work in the morning.
Hello spammy people! I am overloaded with work (after my 2 week vacation) and I'm flying out this Friday to work 6 days in a row 12-15 hour shifts.. yay for me!
Anyways, I missed you a lot, I can't wait to have some time to read you again... G enjoyed the vacations quite a lot but got tonsillitis the second week and he had a high fever for 2 days, he wasn't fussy but he didn't want to eat nor play he is fine now.
G started daycare for real today and it feels weird to leave him for so long with 'strangers'

Good morning. Ladies! ~O) Enjoying a nice lukewarm cup of coffee at my desk and planning my day. *Raises mug* Cheers to all the Mamas also sucking down their coffee this AM!
I'm so used to the consultant pace where everyone needed everything yesterday. They keep giving me work, I hurry to get it done, then I'm sitting here waiting on drafting to get my revised drawings back to me. Maybe someday I'll join the snail pace race, but for now I like the extra time to Bump I get from working hard.
@missymr LO is adjusting well. She only cries at drop off when DH or I leave. Otherwise she is good. Thanks for asking. Has your LO adjusted completely?
Morning ladies! I've been going through caffeine withdrawals since yesterday so having lots of headaches. Maybe cutting the caffeine out was a bad idea...
And my Cardiologist office can't get it together and send my results to my OB. And they won't answer the phone so you have to leave a message and wait the how ever long it takes for them to call you back. I'm starting to get really angry with them. Cardiologist stressed the importance of getting my thyroid under control and then said they can't treat it, and now they can't bother to send the results to OB so they can? GRRRRRR
I called 5 times today and they claim they sent it but my OB office hasn't gotten it. Khaki (the nurse) even personally checked the fax machines log to see if someone else took it by mistake. And I know the receptionist at the Cardiologist office has the right fax number because I had to give it to them!
The nurses name is Khaki?

We have the new keys in hand and are heading to Home Depot as soon as DH gets off work to buy paint! I'm beyond excited!
In other news, we went to Target last night to get some cleaning supplies so that I can start cleaning while DH is painting. P fell asleep on the way home (it wasn't THAT close to bedtime) and then refused to go to bed until midnight. BUT he slept till 7:30.
@stephyfaith I'm sorry! I used to get those unintentionally (when I cut soda for random reasons). When I was pregnant I tried cold turkey, headache was too bad. So I stepped down and that worked a lot better - halve it EOD. It is really nice once you have broken the addiction - I realize how much it messed me and sleep up now that I'm off it. GL!
Glad dh liked the new job, glad LO'S slept better last night, marathon Mondays reborn and you can do it, @casey78 that would totally happen to me and you are a good woman.
LO went to bed late - and is up at an ok time, but not as late as I hoped. Then I realized I'm pretty sure she STTN!
Cold turkey probably wasn't the best route! I may have to wean myself a little slower. I do prefer how I feel not being addicted to the caffeine though.
DD is officially off the boob and I'm sad to see the end of an era... But we made it 13 months so yay! She still sticks her hand down my shirt as a comfort measure. I don't mind it except when we are in public...
My LO is going through a sleep regression or maybe it's teething but he has to be touching me pretty much all night to sleep. I put him back in his crib 3 times last night and then I finally just put him in bed with me. I love the snuggles but he was doing so well in his crib for the past 2 months! ~O)
I'm eating a banana frosting-less cupcake and broke off a few pieces to share. Look away for two seconds and he shoves the rest of my muffin in his mouth and ignores the smaller pieces I lovingly broke off for him.

I feel like I have fallen off the face of the earth. DD has been such a grump lately. I don't know what is wrong. I think it is teething. But my mind goes elsewhere thinking it is a reaction to shots. And she has started waking up at night. I want my happy baby back.
But lots of hugs to all of you esp those that need it. My brain can't remember everyone's name so hugs all around.
SERIOUSLY. Yes, I wanted to shout. Just checked (obviously) revised forecast. Friday, first day pool is closed during the day? Finally suppose to be 90. Saturday, when we go to no-shade Thomas event? 89, full sun -hottest Sat in about 2 months. This follows suit -the one day we took them downtown it poured for the first time in a month and first weekend in a loong time.*sigh* maybe it will change again.(for the better.lol) :P
Oh please tell me I'm not the only mom who hasn't gotten around to birthday thank you cards yet?!?!
Please?!?!
I just mailed mine yesterday and I have a couple more I'm waiting on addresses for to mail so no, not the only one. I was waiting for my photos to get back so I could put a wallet pic in all of them. Makes up for any lateness . I figure as long as they are received within a month of the party it's okay.

@KateJuly2013 - I am still waiting on mine from Esty - they are taking FOREVA. I guess I will have to get my butt in gear right when I get them.
Beautiful day here in Boston - the nanny is taking the kiddos to a park with a sprinkler - I am so jealous, I just want to be hanging with the little kiddos in the sun!
@casey78 and @byjove03, I've been debating signing up for Stitch Fix. If you send something back because of fit, is that the end of it, or will they send you a better size if you like it?
I'm bummed. I just had to take DS's favorite book away for good. It's a book that makes sounds the correspond to whatever animal is on the page. He figured out how to rip the pages apart, which exposed the wires that help make the sounds. And of course he's got to try and eat the wires so I took it away. He loved this book so much, I could give it to him while I was cooking dinner and it would entertain him for about 30 minutes. I'm tempted to buy a replacement even though he'll likely do the same thing.
