Hey lady!

My RE appt went ok. I posted an update in my thread about low amh and iuis. It pretty much went down like this...

Him- "your OB is doing everything I would, so...."
Me-" ok then I'll stay with her"

and that was it! I decided to stay with my OB for a few more cycles and then if this doesn't work, I'm going to a different RE. He comes from a great recommendation, so I'm excited. I need to learn patience.

I see we have a few ladies in the tww! Good luck, and step away from the sticks!!!

As for everyone else, I hope you all have a great week. We are getting away for a few days this week and I'm looking forward to it!

@rslh10‌ I am glad you went to the RE and they said they'd do the same thing as your OB, sounds like you have a great OB!

AFM- I have solid lines on CD13 now on FF, I am hoping that's when I ovulated as I am still having watery CM (TMI) I know. Today all of the sudden I started having heart palpitations, super annoying so I am going to have labs drawn tomorrow (my endo upped my synthroid and that's my guess to what it is...) however if my labs come back normal of to the cardiologist I go- kind of dreading if it is a cards issue bc they just cleared me to TTC in march and I'm afraid they will take it back! I am hoping for a quick 2WW, however it's day 3 and I'm already wanting to pee on sticks. Ugh.

Hi ladies. I'm finally done working my crazy work schedule. Now I get to tackle the start of school this week. @BethKate2‌ my period is due the 24th. I had a weird feeling when I was at the store on 8/13 so I got another clearblue digi OPK. Came home and peed on it then hopped in the shower. Got out to check it and to my surprise there was a damn smily face looking back at me. I took full opportunity if this and ransacked my SO. Today thou I have had crazy weird cramping. Not sure what to think of it. We will have to wait and see what next week brings. I don't want to get my hopes up ...... :-/

DH and I have been TTC since Jan '13 and began working with an RE in Jan '14.  Our first IUI this last April resulted in a BFP.  My betas were good in the beginning, but then slowed.  We did see heartbeat at my second ultrasound, but my blood work showed extremely low progesterone and I had a natural miscarriage a few days later.  My EDD was 1/15/15. 

We were benched by the RE for the next two cycles and just started up with treatments again.  I am on CD 13 with no follies yet (my cycles are annoyingly long), hopefully the next ultrasound will show something and we'll be on the road for IUI#2.  The only difference this time is we'll be using frozen sperm because my DH is out of the country right now.  The RE wasn't real encouraging about our chances so I'm not feeling hopeful at all about this cycle.

AFM - So far, I’ve had a few good days but still not quite functional. DH and I were talking today about going to see my back specialist again to push for the MRI for a second time before I’m cleared for TTC. I’m beginning to wonder if I may have done something to the hardware they put in my back at my last barrel racing competition. Good news is that AF showed up last week and puts me one step closer to trying again. Hoping the time will pass quickly.

AFM I'm hoping & praying my temperature bumps tomorrow AM. I had +OPKs late Sat night and all day Sunday. Negative OPK this morning with an obvious change in CM. I think the egg dropped while I was sleeping. Our timing isn't perfect but hopefully close enough. So I guess (hopefully) tomorrow starts the 2ww for me. Actually it will be a 12 day wait. No way in hell I can go 14 days. My most recent LP was 12 days, the one before that was 11, so I think if no AF 12DPO I will test. (And by all of this, I mean I will start peeing on Dollar Store cheapies at like 9 DPO )

@paintdadanta‌ - that was my plan, since I'll be in Belgium soon my wait gets shortened by a day-- woot woot @mpiemont 12 days is plenty of days. I can't guarantee I won't pee on a Wondfo by Sunday, even though I know that will probably yield a BFN

@paintdadanta‌ I am a phlebotomy student. I should have been graduating this December but losing my bean in June messed my train of thought up for two classes I was taking this summer.
@mpiemont‌ I actually did today but knew I'd get a bfn. I did go and pick up a three pack when I was grocery shopping this afternoon thou. Maybe one a day for the next three days then buy some more?!?!

@pinkglitterfly‌ - I'm not how your school runs but do they offer a winter session or full course loads? I was able to skip a semester when I did my BA by taking an abbreviated January course and then a couple 18 credits semesters. This is my last semester of graduate school but I lost the rest of my summer when we found out about our loss the week after summer course ended. Now that I'm slowly getting back into my routine classes start, ugh.

@paintdadanta‌ no they don't unfortunately. It's really frustrating too because I had to pick up an extra class today just to have enough credits for my financial aide to kick in. Plus this messes my spring semester up as I have to pass on getting off the wait list for my other major. Meh. I just want to be done. What are you going to school for?

@pinkglitterfly‌ - Don't you hate that FA doesn't kick in for part-time enrollment? I fought with mine last week because they changed my requirements again from needing a thesis to directed project and wouldn't let me register or get FA unless I found a company to freelance for and forms completed (one week was a time crunch). I'm back in school for more journalism - I know dying field. When I started my BA in it, everyone was telling me to get out, too late now.

Were you able to drop the summer courses without a problem? What about individual study? I know some offer it if the professor is on board with it.

@paintdadanta‌ I actually do get financial aide at part time. I only had 5 credits for this semester so that was why I had to pick up another. I needed to have 6 to be part time. I don't even need the class but it pertained to my major so I knew it would be covered by financial aide. So annoying. I was able to drop my classes this summer w/o issue. My teachers were wonderful and actually extended two weeks of work and tests but it was too much to play catch up. Plus I didn't want to throw papers together just to pass and have them be half assed.

@pinkglitterfly‌ - Atleast your teachers were good. I know what you mean about throwing papers together half-way done plenty of those. That's good you don't have to register for a full load either mine require me to be atleast in between part and full. FX this semester will go great for us both.

AFM - Just hanging out still.  I had a great day with my family on Sat.  DH has been an insane packrat since we got our house 8 years ago.  I have a dumpster coming in a week to get rid of crap along with the remains of my kitchen remodel and a bathroom remodel that we just decided to do.  So, DH and I spent Sunday cleaning out closets and spare rooms to get stuff together to throw in the dumpster.  I can't wait to get all of it out of my house!!!!

We got CH today!!! Hope our BDing was good timing!!!  This is my first time charting with FF and it was magical to watch the chart change when I put in my info this morning.  It's the small things in life really.

XP from the Newb check-in. As BK2 suggested, I need all the help I can get waiting until Friday to test. I'm 7DPO and getting antsy. My LP is only 10-11 days, but I'm already feeling weak!!! MH made me swear I'd wait until Thursday at the earliest, and I told him he would have to hide the FRERs from me. We are leaving Saturday to visit MH's family for a little weekend away and we're taking the dogs with us. Should be fun! But I'd really like to know if I can drink. MH's mom looooves her wine and she brings out the wino in me

@jj32 I'm sorry for the BFNs. When I sit back and think about it, I really would like to actually wait til 14DPO. I'm so afraid of getting an early + and having a CP. I'd rather spare myself and wait to test. I hate the waiting though!!!

@lalalady54 I'd still say CD13, but it's hard to say for sure. Either way you had great timing! And yes, my temp bumped way up. I woke up about an hour before normal and really had to pee so I went fast and fell back to sleep. That may have contributed but I'm relatively sure it was going to rise anyway.

@mrandmrsk91011 - The kitchen remodel happened about 2 years ago.  We just didn't have the money to get the dumpster, so it's sat around for 2 years.  I can't wait to get it all out!!!

@CFearsy - the kitchen remodel is mostly done.  There's some work on the ceiling (we moved part of a wall back) and the soffit needs to be completed, but the main stuff is done.  The guest bath, we are ripping out when the dumpster is there and rebuilding it as we get supplies.  Which reminds me...I have to order my flooring.  We do most of the work ourselves (if I'm honest, DH does most of it), so the remodels usually take awhile.

@rslh10, I'm sorry your RE appointment was kind of a waste. Hopefully your OB is able to help you, but if not, I'd definitely seek out a different RE.

@lalalady54, when will you hear back about your blood work?

AFM, Nothing new going on here. I'll probably ovulate at some point in the next week or so. I should also hear back from my RE's office tomorrow about my thyroid levels, so FX the medication is making a difference. I have a consultation to come up with a plan on 9/2, and it'll be a lot easier if we know my thyroid levels are already where they need to be. If we need to switch meds or whatever, it'll likely push us back at least another cycle.

Hello. I posted my intro way back in May on the main board, but I was wondering if I could join in here. We lost our second try on May 8th (which was crappy close to Mother's Day) and all I wanted to do was mope. We have since been trying and I finally got in to see the new OB that I have been assigned and it was great! She was helpful and concerned, and ready to start testing if I wanted. I'm not sure what else to tell you all about, but I am going to try to read through and post on others. Oh and the EDD was 1/5/15.
