this is a tough one. I really depends on what for, but I think a good crusty bread is hard to beat.

I said crusty style loaf because I fell it is more all encompassing. Really, if it's bread, give it to me I'll eat it!

As a, "if I could only have one ever" bread, rye. But I do love a good baguette/ crusty loaf. But those have very specific occasions/ foods/ meals to be eaten with, so I voted Rye.

I don't eat a ton of bread but my favourite is a good multigrain. It has so much more flavour and is usually healthier than white bread. But if I'm having some kind of pasta dish or chili or something, I love crusty white bread with it.

Can I just pick all bread?

Multigrain for sandwiches.  Sour Dough for breakfast.  Rye for reubens.  Pumpernickel is awesome.  Any kind of crusty bread for soups and stews.

Dinner rolls (home-made).

And don't forget about Banana Bread, Zucchini bread, and cinnamon swirl.

After thinking about this, I should be fat....

Anyone ever make a cracked wheat bread?? That's our favorite, but I'm going to try and make some homemade.
