Baby G isn't yet sleeping in his crib at night (I'm not ready), but we've been trying to take naps in it (emphasis on trying). I noticed this weekend that there's a small gap (<1"-1") between the mattress and the edge of the crib (mattress slides a bit back to front (if I move it)) and I'm not sure how to fix it... This is my sister's mattress (~1year old) and it's in really good condition so I figured it'd be fine, but is it too small?
I thought they'd basically standardized crib mattress sizes?
Should I cut a pool noodle to length and put it in back, inside the crib sheet (was a suggestion for a cosleeper that I'd seen when I was considering that)?
Am I over thinking it?
