I saw the name Otto somewhere recently and I'm digging it right now. I love how it sounds and that it's easy to pronounce and spell, I don't really care for the palindrome though. What are your thoughts? Is Otto ready for a comeback?

    I love Otto. Maybe even more so because of SOA. But I'm weird like that.

    I love Otto! H vetoed it but I am going to wait a few months and bring it up again to see if his mind can be changed.

    I think it's cute.  I think of Otto Von Bismark :)  I don't think you hear it a lot, but it's a cute name.

    I love Otto.  I remember reading about Anne Frank as a girl, Otto was her father's name and I thought it was a such cool name.  I think it's very handsome, underused but not unheard of... plus, I have a weakness for names that end in o.

    Thanks for your comments everyone! I haven't watched SOA, don't watch The Simpsons and only have a vague recollection of dr. Octopus, but I'll look into it and see if it changes my opinion :)

    I love it. I didn't like it at first but then I met a little boy named Otto and fell in love with it. He was also the first in my group of threes to write and spell their name aloud so that's a plus too!

    There is a baby Otto in my town.  His parents are artsy hipsters and awesome photographers.

    I really like Otto - but I like a lot of names that have Germanic hints. :)

    Otto is super cute, but we just couldn't bring ourselves to use it. All DH could think of was the Simpsons and all I could think of was the movie Beaches and Bette Midler singing about the inventor of the bra - Otto Titsling.

    I knew one growing up and he was teased mercilessly. I'm not sure how much was the individual and how much was him having a name none of the kids were familiar with. Unusual names are more the norm these days. So it's probably fine.
