The trick is to not cut your nails for like a month prior. Then you can really get in there.

I don't know if I would say it was fun, but I felt pretty accomplished after completing the challenge. And, I really really really had a new appreciation for my laundry machine.

It's probably only fun because I don't HAVE to handwash every day. But, yeah, I hear you on the appreciation of the washer. Handwashing all laundry for one day is good therapy for the days you feel unsatisfied with what you have. I also joked that giving up the wash machine for Lent would be more of a sacrifice than giving up dessert.
