****Would someone be willing to take over this check-in?  I'm just posting it this week but I won't be able to continue since I already run the March one and based on where I am in my IVF cycle I don't think it's a good idea***

This is the weekly check-in for TTCALers who are also dealing with infertility. If you'd like to join us please feel free to intro with your diagnosis and history. We've had a few extra challenges thrown at us, ladies. Come here for snuggles from people who get what you're dealing with. 

Fill us in, along with any other updates or vents you need to get out, TTCAL or NonTTCAL related.

If you get a BFP, please PM me and let me know. I try to lurk on PgAL often, but sometimes it’s tough. If we haven’t heard from you in a few weeks please come back in with an update; or are new and want to join please post a brief intro with your DX and current/future treatment plans an  I’ll add you to next week’s check in!

AFM:  I'm responding very slooooooowly to all of the meds.  I already went through my 10 days of Gonal-F and had to buy more.  Right now I  only have 4 big follies growing so if you could all say some prayers that THE FAB FOUR KEEP GROWING that would be awesome!  Lining looks great at 9mm and as long as I keep these four I might have a chance.  I have another monitoring appointment tomorrow so I should know better if ER will be on Thursday or Friday of this week.

AFM: Sadly, IUI #3 was a bust. We'll do one last natural IUI next week before moving on to meds/injectibles. I wanted to switch this cycle, but DH wants to give it one last natural try. I think he's nervous that the meds/injectibles are what caused our miscarriage and is hoping we'll conceive naturally with IUI #4. Here's hoping.

QOTW: I have a half marathon planned next month that I am looking forward to and hoping summer weather will stick around for.

I'm so sorry #3 was a bust.  We started out the same way, wanting things to be as natural as possible.  DH and I fortunately found that our desire for a rainbow baby was more than the fear of meds.  He's also a doctor so not as scared about me taking meds.  I'll be sending many many positive vibes and prayers your way that IUI #4 works!!

@RedheadRunning I'm so sorry about your IUI. FX that one more is all you need. It's so hard when you're not both on the same page with treatment. 

AFM I'm 7dpiui #4. The IUI went smoothly & had a good count from MH. I had a therapy appt later that day, that's going well so far. My therapist is encouraging us to come up with a positive way to celebrate our little girl on her EDD. I love the idea, but I'm not sure what we'll do yet. On my way home from that appointment, I got to see a beautiful double rainbow. I don't really believe in signs, but that gave me some hope. I saw another double rainbow this Saturday, FX it's a sign from the universe. 

I'm going to hold out on testing until next Monday. Next Tuesday I'm going out of town to visit a fellow IFer that finally got her little IVF miracle. 

QOTW: We still have another roughly 2 months of summer temps down here, so I have time to sneak in beach trips now that everyone's kiddos are back to school. This weekend we should be driving to Memphis for an overnight trip. We're planning on hitting Beale St Friday night, hopefully we'll find a blues club to go to. Saturday we're planning on doing a tour of the Gibson factory.

AFM:
So..... I have a SHG and mock transfer the week of sept 5th.....
An endometrial biopsy for implantation the week of sept 25th
And it is looking like FET OCT 3rd.
My DH just dropped off our remaining 6 frozen embies at the new REs this morning. It's nice to be done with my old RE...

QOTD:
DH and I are going camping this weekend with my cousin and her boyfriend. MH is headed up Thursday and I will join him Friday after I get off of work. It is gonna be hot and I have hot flashes from my depot Lupron so wish me luck and by wish me luck I mean wish MH luck because I'm a cranky woman

AFM- I got my bfp on August 2nd, but my betas never doubled.  My RE's office confirmed that this was not a normal pregnancy on August 9th. This past Saturday I started bleeding and had a lot of cramping. I am benched this cycle, but we can start trying again next cycle. 

QOTW- We don't have any plans. I would love to go on a mini vacation, but that isn't going to happen this year.

I have everything crossed for you!!!  I see a therapist too and it's been so helpful to me.  I'm so jealous that you have 2 more months of summer weather!!!

YAY For getting the show on the road!!!!  I'm so glad your frozen embies are safe at the new RE.  Did DH literally transport them himself?  I'm picturing your DH driving EXTRA carefully LOL.  I hope that there is a place near by where you can jump in the water and cool off this weekend!

Good morning ladies! I'm 5dpiui and haven't been crazy yet. We were so busy since the iui with SIL's wedding I haven't had time to think about it. Beta is next Thursday! I'm going to hold out on testing until the morning of just to be prepared is the news is bad. Last time I was positive it worked but got the dreaded phone call 20 minutes before I had to go to work.

YAY!!  FX for you!!!  I think that is a good plan to poas the morning of betas.  That way you won't play the "maybe it's too early" game with yourself (like i always do!)

Sorry for the confusion @Frenchteachermomma, I am formerly RedheadRunning. I updated my username recently, but it took some time to actually stick and needed some assistance from the bump gods to make it so. Anyway, I can do next week's but that's about it, September is when work picks up for me but I don't mind helping next week.
