So i'd love some opinions on this. I lost a baby 3 weeks ago, yesterday would've been CD21 (Not since the bleeding but counting from when i actually passed everything) Shortly after the spotting stopped i began noticing huge globs of thick CM, like nothing i've ever seen pre-loss. (Sorry for tmi) Then it got increasingly stretchy and more watery. After a few days it turned to that unmistakable egg white, but only for a brief time. And sure enough, the very next day i had a temp shift. Now i'm all dried out down there too, theres hardly any cervical fluid. It changed in consistency and was no longer abundant the following morning when a recorded a higher bbt. I guess im a little shocked cause i did not expect to ovulate at all this cycle but my temp's still raised and my breasts are also a little sore now (I've noticed in the last day or so). This just strikes me as highly unusual because i normally get at least 5 days of ewcm as my body gears up for ovulation. Also, if it truly did happen it wouldve been about 10 days sooner than normal for me! That is extremely surprising considering things are still normalizing and therefore i would have expected the opposite, ovulating late.......By the way i just took a hpt i had lying around-A high sensitivity one, and got the faintest of faint lines so i know the hormones are low. I'd appreciate whatever feedback you could give me !

OP, cycles after a loss are wonky. If you are pg again, or if you had unprotected sex after your loss and have the possibility of being pg, call your doctor to have a beta ran.
I'm mobile so I can't see how far you were but it is very typical for doctors to say nothing in the vagina for at least one to two weeks after bleeding stops to avoid the risk of infection.
If you are pg again, please do not update us. If you are not, post an intro and checkout the newbie check-in.

It is possible to ovulate, I think you said you're being monitored down to zero which is important.

FRER, wondfos, and many other early tests can give positives with HCG below 10. Most early tests officially say 25 as their low end but way too many people have had betas while peeing on all things. Those buggers are really sensitive now!
OP, thank you for the clarification! Yes, you can ovulate with low levels of HCG still in your system and we have had members who ovulated when their HCG levels were still over 50.

I said *most likely* as that is, as you said, what early detection tests report as their lowest detection threshold. I am fairly certain this has to do with FDA standard of % accuracy at various levels. But you're right, they are really sensitive now! I personally have never had a beta plus taken an HPT, but this article includes a wide range of HPTs in a sensitivity/specificity analysis reporting that some early detection tests do in fact pick up hcg at less than 25 (e.g., 6).
