Estradiol patch side effects?

This is the first time I've done a patch protocol. I'm usually pretty solid emotionally but I started using these patches Friday and have been a bloated, crampy and emotional mess. This morning I started crying loudly because my husband said I would have to leave my kayak at another campsite and I was afraid the raccoons would carry my Vivelle patches away while I was gone. (My new nickname is "hormonally imbalanced raccoon" now, so that happened too.) Anyone else have this problem? The bloating is insane, it's so unfair. Grr.

YUP. Estrogen is an enormous asshole.

Thank you for the first laugh I've had all day! I wish I wasn't on an iPad or I'd be all over the raccoon gifs. It may be time for a new avatar.

I'm glad you asked this question, I came her to ask about it. I started the vivelle dots almost a week ago and today I have huge amounts of EWCM, like the most I've ever had. Is this common?

I saw on another thread that someone was really worried after reading about the side-effects. I may be in the minority, and it could be because I only went through two patches, but I didn't have ANY of the side-effects listed above.

And seriously @scooteriste you totally need a raccoon avatar!

Hormones affect everyone so differently. It's really impossible to predict how you, personally, will feel on any given treatment until you've tried it.

I'd like to report that zero raccoons ran away with my Vivelle patches but they did get some Oreos at the campsite. I am so glad I went on this trip even though I was feeling down. We had an awesome time with friends and were able to forget about IF for a couple of days. @airidh80‌ that slime gif... I died.
