TTCAL Intro - can I hang out here?

Hi All,

I've been lurking for a few days and thought I would drop a quick hello and intro.  My name's Jess.  Got my very first BFP on July 18th.  Fiancé and I were not actively trying but overjoyed at the news.  My first ultrasound was set for 8/11.  The night before I began to miscarry, confirmed at the appointment.

We are not actively trying to conceive again just yet.  It's still painful and I can't bear the thought of another potential loss before our wedding in December.  We've decided to wait until then, at least for now.  Who knows, things could change. 

Anyways, I've mostly been hanging out on the Miscarriage/Loss forum now, but several posters from my previous birth month referred me to this page, saying it may be good for me.

I wish you ALL the best, and so sorry for the struggles and heart aches we've all been through/are going through.

    6-6-14 natural m/c completed

    Sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board. There's a great TTA group for women on here who are trying to avoid for a variety of reasons, be it medical or just personal ... they post an update each week, maybe you could join up with them too? I hope you find the support and comfort you're looking for. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

    I'm so sorry for your loss but welcome to the board. I waited for a while to TTC again after my loss and posting here helped me through the wait. Congrats on your upcoming wedding!
