teething = meat strike???

My child that would eat anything has gotten picky.  He will not eat meat of any kind.  He will put it in his mouth and then spit it out (cute, I know)..  2 days ago I could only get him to eat hot dogs..  Today no meat...  He also won't eat sweet potato (used to be his favorite)..  He just seems to be eating less and not interested in anything meat related...  Give him pasta and he will eat every last noodle.  Phase?  Teething related?

  • I think (hope) it is a phase. Natalie is currently refusing everything (yes, everything) except crackers, applesauce and cheese (but is only sometimes OK with cheese). Sigh.

    for their next date they can eat gold fish and cheese..  Luca will eat pears and grapes too...  Must be an age thing...  You think you have them figured out and they go change on you...

    How small do you cut the grapes? Fourths? Eighths? I figure however you cut them for Luca, I'll have the cut them one more time for Natalie. She's such an eating wimp...

  • quarters...  we just tried them last week..  He likes them a lot....  we did the red seedless....
  • We are going through the same thing at almost 18 months. All Connor will eat right now is bread, pasta, cheese, freeze dried apple pieces and nutri-grain bars. He will not touch meat or fresh fruit anymore, and they were his favorites.
