Cloth Diapering

My toddler is a racehorse

Or at least pees like one. After just a couple hours after a change, R peed so much that it soaked straight through her grovia, onto her chair, and it was literally dripping off the seat.

Look at this thing! Covered in baking soda to try and soak up the residual liquid and smell. Ugh. Toddlers are frustrating, yo!

I'm pretty sure mine is just far.... and not close. Yesterday, I took his diaper off before bathtime, and he peed on the activity mat I had out for #2. Not even born yet, and already have to wash it.

Today, I took his diaper off in the bathroom. I went to go put it in the wetbag real quick, I come back, and he's standing in a puddle of pee.

Yesterday and today, I thought he was about to poop in the tub, so I was going to put him on the toilet, and he just screamed. Even when I tried to get the potty ring out. Today he screamed even before I touched the potty ring.....

ETA: he also just laughs when he watches himself pee without his diaper on.
  • TJ - it's so true and so frustrating! She can go an entire day in undies with no issue, but she also just doesn't seem to care if she pees herself.

She just doesn't want to stop playing to take care of business. I can't even take a wet diaper off of her without a fight b/c she "has to play"

If she's naked, she goes on her own, but put any kind of cotton/cloth on her, and it's game over.
