surprise sibling meet up

We went to our monthly visit to Bruce's birth mom this morning. Last time we visited she asked if she could bring B's half sisters (bio dad's daughters from a previous relationship). At the time I decided it would be best to wait, since it was here first time visiting us at our house.

Anyway, we showed up to her apartment today and the two girls were there. We still haven't net bio dad, as his court filings have not been wrapped up yet. But it was nice to meet his half sisters!

We should be hearing from our lawyer regarding the status of his filings and when we will be able to schedule finalization later this week. Hope once we are through with all that bio dad will agree to meet us & Bruce, but who knows.

That's a nice suprise!! Glad you got to meet them! How did B react to seeing them...?

He didn't really. He never lived with them and nobody made a big deal about it. He doesn't really respond with familiarity to his BM either.

She hasn't said otherwise, but I'm not really sure what she thinks of it. She does call him by his new name now, whereas she used to refer yo him by the name she chose.
