Have your LO's started having dramz & frustrations? The little tantrums are so cute & I feel bad for them! It's a little different than age 2-3 tantrums because they are so mad over small things.

We had issues this AM over coloring. Only the tip works on paper! Zomfg lol!

Amanda is Queen of the Temper Tantrums. (It's weird because Marnie never really had them until the terrible twos.)

This morning, for absolutely no reason (that we could figure out), she suddenly pulls up on the couch, tensed her entire body, screamed in frustration, then tore the suckie out of her mouth and hucked it across the room. It was actually really funny.

Seriously, she was playing happily the minute before.

Drama. Queen.

Yep, totally taking on a toddler-like temperament over here.  His is more frustration over not being able to move much yet, I think, so hopefully that will motivate him to get going!  He also is taking a lot more interest in his brother's toys, so there are starting to be more arguments over toys.

I'm so glad we aren't the only ones. He throws the biggest fits ever in the store and it's so frustrating because there is literally nothing I can do to stop him short of letting him out of the cart and letting him run wild pulling everything off the shelves. I swear, sometimes his tantrums look like he's auditioning for the next Exorcist movie.

I'm so glad you posted this. I hadn't expected temper tantrums to start quite yet but they are in full effect here. Any time he can't figure out how to get into something it's a meltdown. Mommy doesn't let me play with something dangerous? Even bigger meltdown. And if I don't bring him food fast enough he screeches so loud the neighbors can probably hear.

Yes! Ty has meltdown/tantrums daily. Yesterday he threw a fit because the pillow that he threw off the couch was now in his way of where he wanted to walk.

Yes.  P is quite distraught when his yogurt is all gone.  Or when I take my sunglasses from him b/c he's chewing the crap out of the ear piece.

Biggest tantrums lately are when I take my bottle of apple juice away cuz I'm thirsty, and when she loses a piece of fruit within her high chair (ZOMG! THERE'S NO MORE FRUIT IN THE WORLD! *WAHHHHH!* O, you found it? Okay. *Nomnomnom*).

Finn was quite upset that no one was sharing the Sour Patch Kids with him last night.

And this morning he REALLY wanted to play with my iPhone. When I took it to plug it in, it was all back arching and shaking his head back and forth. Poor Finn.

Just had stage 3 meltdown that required boobs to recover over not being allowed to shove our fingers into the dog's eyeballs.

Just when I won't let him eat dirt.

He also hits his brother when he won't give him a toy...or if brother takes the toy he wants. No more innocent baby brother.

LO likes to drink out of adults glasses and even if I pour water into his sippy cup out of my own glass he was just drinking from, he'll throw a hissy. And he loves my Chapstick. Livid if I take it away from him.

Yes! I have to try so hard not to laugh because it's sooo funny. He'll yell "Nah!" and throw his little hands up and throw what ever toy he's holding. He'll normally do it two or three times in a row just to show us how mad he really is. Lol

Drama king over here. Mostly over being restricted/controlled in any way..

Stroller/cart/baby carrier and won't let him out? Meltdown.

Not letting him run crazy and grab whatever he wants in a store? Meltdown.

Want him to stay in the baby gated living room so I can pee? Meltdown.

Getting into the carseat= meltdown for us.  She "fake" cries too and looks around to see if anyone notices.

I can't believe how quickly they go from baby is crying to toddler is being dramatic. Alexa is also a noodle body baby. I will hold her hand and if I direct her away from the STREET for example, she starts to cry and scream and goes limp. Really kid?!?

Everything.

Now when he wants held or picked up he puts his arms up and shouts "I baby! Baby! I baby!" Then it turns into more screams of "Mamie...MAAAAMMMIIIEEE!!!"

Somehow he learned that "babies" are held and when he wants to be a baby he lets me know.

However...if we don't let him down when he wants...he throws what ever object he can find (sippy, bottle, paci) onto the ground and thinks we are going to let him down to pick it up. It's pretty hysterical how his mind works but it is also frustrating when this kid is so dang smart and tries to outsmart us constantly. it doesn't work...most of the time.
