Tdap vaccination

Hiya! Been mostly absent to avoid those early days of scaring myself with forum posts

I got my tdap last week (and holy CRAP did my arm hurt ... I used it as a chance to practice my L&D breathing while using it!). Husband got his at the CVS minute clinic this weekend, and since my mom is coming down as soon as the kiddo is born, I told her she had to get one as well. Plus we all got flu shots. 

My last tdap was 6 years ago (they last for 10), but I was told that I'd still have to get a new one for every pregnancy for the immunity factor for the baby. A friend of mine works in public health and said pertussis is bordering on an epidemic, especially where we live, and to not mess around with waiting on the shot.
