I am now 2 weeks out from having baby girl and am back on a spurt of buying all the CDs I can. Curious if anyone has made any purchases lately that they think were a great idea and something I should have too!
I got a Jules FT from a momma that did not know the current value of them! A steal as right around the retail price point and the bum placement is awesome

I am at a point where any more diapers that I buy are just to get me a little more wiggle room in terms of getting my clean diapers sorted and put away, and mostly just to have a few daycare-friendly diapers in the stash.
I recently got a few of the new Thirsties OS pockets and they are really nice. I'm not sure if they are still making a Size 1 or NB size, but I have a few of the old Duo pockets in my stash, both sizes, and they have held up really well.
I also really like the Totsbots v4. Very quick-drying AIO. A while ago I wouldn't have bought them because they are only in Aplix, but right now that seems to be what is daycare-friendly, so I am now adding a few to my stash. Also I really like the new binky material they have inside. I didn't like the minky in the older version. Personal preference.
For NBs I would recommend prefolds, flats, or fitteds with a cover. We did really well with GMD prefolds and flats. I hear great things about their workhorse fitteds. Kissaluvs size 0 are great but costs a bit more.
ETA: I haven't bought any Simplex recently, but I highly recommend them. Sized or OS.
Thirsties one size pockets in aplix. My new favorites. I used to hate that they have white trim around everything, but they fit and work so well that I don't even care. I just love them.

My latest obsession are woolies! Particularly longies for fall. I also just got a great deal on a medium simplex (used) bc I've been wanting to try them out. But it's not here yet. Also, I've been buying multi snapless sbish fitteds which are working really well with wool for nighttime!
These are not CDs but I buy them at the CD store and are great for new mamas: I love Earth Mama Angel Baby teas- especially the milkmaid and peaceful mama tea. I am also in love with bamboo swaddle blankets.
I am really loving my blueberry coveralls. I put them over sbish snapless fitteds at night, prefolds (either just tri/pad folded or folded on her with a snappi), and AC bamboo inserts and they all work great.
Also, AC bamboo inserts! They are amazingly soft and so absorbent. They are expensive but I just bought 6 more, got a 5% discount for buying 6, got a 5% discount for a sale the store was having, and I used almost $10 of frequent buyer points so they were only about $6 each rather than $10 each.
Re: Any recent purchases that you must rave about?
SO is bringing me over Tophat and Piccadilly Circus flips when he comes to visit next week, and a Carroll 4.0.

And I just bought a new, redesigned Kawaii P&N and I really like it. The double gussets are awesome and the sheep print is cute.
