How's your relationship with your ILs?: They both (MIL/FIL) drive me nuts and I avoid them like the plague. DH has no siblings- counting my lucky stars!

Do you travel for holidays to see extended family, or do you prefer keeping the nuclear family at home?: Yes, we see both sides of the family, though not always on the actual holiday day

Do you have any least favorite relative? If so, why are they your least favorite? Yes, I have a psycho aunt. She's a conspiracy theorist, anti-vaccine, and totally condescending. I wore a tank top (around my parents' house) during the summer and she said I was immodest. I could vent about her for days. I want to punch her in the throat.

1) I have two, and one is cooking. We would like to have four. 2) we are been marry for four years, but living together ten years. 3) my dad is marry to some other ladie, my mom pass away 10 years ago. 4) yes, I like talking to him. 5) I have one brother, and three sisters. 6) I can say I'm lucky, they are very nice and very respectful. They don't like to commend on how we raise our kids, they are all the opposite. 7) We keep the nuclear family at home, but we will do traveling on the future. 8) no, I don't have any least favorite.

1. Would like 2-3 but we will see how it plays out.

How long have you been married, if you are?
7 months! Ha Together 6 years. We boycotted getting married for a long time.

Are your parents still married/divorced/deceased/remarried to others:
My parents divorced a few months after I was born. Mother is on her 5th husband and my father never remarried. He passed away the end of May

Do you get along with your parents?
Yes, my mother is young and more like a good friend.

Do you get along with your siblings? Yes, although neither live near me so we rarely see each other.
How's your relationship with your ILs?
Good. Although they both have their issues. MIL is a paranoid crazy woman and FIL remarried a 30 year old Asian woman who calls him "daddy"...need I say more?

Do you travel for holidays to see extended family, or do you prefer keeping the nuclear family at home?Cannot wait to travel to see my family this year! I have zero family in this state and only my MIL on my DHs side, so holidays get lonely here.

One of my uncles. He's always been a dick.

Do you have any least favorite relative? If so, why are they your least favorite? SIL -  She posted an article for moms of kids with Down Syndrome and then proceeded to name 2 friends as some of the bravest women she knows and when I reacted to being omitted (ds2 has Down Syndrome) she attacked me for never accepting her and she didn't intentionally omit me she just "forgot we were Facebook friends."  Every time my family gets together she spends her time texting (I even have a pic at my wedding reception with her on her phone). At her wedding to my brother, my kids (the only niece and nephew for either of them) and I were excluded from the wedding party even though her sister and brother were included and they had 5 flower girls and 5 ring bearers - all kids of friends. At the reception, I stopped one of the groomsmen to ask him a question and during our conversation he made the comment that he didn't even know my brother had a sister.  My family is in 5 of the hundreds taken by their photographer that day - and 1 is because my mom happened to get caught in the background. Bro & SIL couldn't stay for dd's high school graduation (ceremony took a whopping 30 minutes tops) because SIL got her period midway through...and the list could go on

How many kids do you have, and how many do you plan on?: have two girls. three kids would be our max, but we might be done b/c we don't want 3 girls and apparently we're good at making them.  We've considered adopting a boy, but we'll see how we feel a few years down the road.

How long have you been married, if you are?: coming up on 5 years this October

Do you get along with your parents?:yeah, I'm pretty close with both of them, which is good b/c they live less than two miles away

Do you get along with your siblings?: we get along very well, but we're not overly close. We're not the type to call and check in to chat randomly.

How's your relationship with your ILs?:fine. MIL watches the kids while we're at work. FIL drives me crazy, but to fair, he drives everyone crazy for many reasons.

Do you travel for holidays to see extended family, or do you prefer keeping the nuclear family at home?:honestly, I'd love to keep the nuclear family at home, but b/c everyone lives so close, we end up playing musical houses every holiday. it's exhausting!

Do you have any least favorite relative? If so, why are they your least favorite? maybe a couple cousins on my mom's side. They're not terrible, but just a totally different life style than we're used to and I have never been close with them.  No "crazy Aunt Sally" types though.

We have 2. I'd love more (maybe 4?), but J is still unsure as to why we needed 2 when we "got it right the first time" .

Married for 7 years, together for 9.

Both sets of parents are still married.

I get along with my parents mostly, but we're not close. Also, if I spend too much time with my mom, she starts to drive me batty.

I have 1 older sister.

We never got along growing up, but she's my best friend now.

I get along fine with my ILs. FIL is sometimes tough to handle (grew up in a small town in Louisiana and has a very narrow minded view of the world, so I have to remind myself that he doesn't know how completely offensive some of the things he says are). My BILs are great (although we've never lived close enough to get to know each other really well).

We haven't done holidays with the family for a few years. Going home hasn't been an option since being in Europe, and before that J always volunteered to take the holiday shifts so the guys with kids could be at home. We'll probably try to go to the the grandparents' houses once we're back in the US.

I don't think I have a least favorite.

How many kids do you have, and how many do you plan on?: DD is our only right now. We are undecided about whether we want to have another or not

How long have you been married, if you are?: Our fourth anniversary is in a few weeks!

Are your parents still married/divorced/deceased/remarried to others: Parents are separated but not divorced. They still get along and do things together (like take my brother to his baseball tournaments and stuff) but it is best if they don't live together.

Do you get along with your parents?: Very much so

Do you get along with your siblings?: Very well. My one brother is 4 years younger than me and the other is 12 years younger. We all get along well and I love having them in my life. 

How's your relationship with your ILs?: Meh... They are okay. I tolerate them for DHs sake. But they are a bunch of takers and constantly take advantage of DHs good nature and it makes me really ragey. 

Do you travel for holidays to see extended family, or do you prefer keeping the nuclear family at home?: We usually end up doing a lot of visiting but our family all lives within a 20 minute drive so at least we don't have to go far.

Do you have any least favorite relative? If so, why are they your least favourite? Not really, I'm really lucky to have a great family.

How many kids do you have, and how many do you plan on?: DH has a 15 year old son from his first marriage, we have a 2 year old together, and we plan on one more.

How long have you been married, if you are?: Three years.

Are your parents still married/divorced/deceased/remarried to others: My parents have been married 36 years. DH's parents were married for 23 years until his dad died; his mom remarried two years later and she and her husband have been married 11 years. DH was married with a child when his dad died, so he didn't grow up with a stepdad, but he has been wonderful to DH and to my SS, and he and MIL consider the kids and grandkids "theirs" rather than "his" and "hers." They've done a good job blending their family.

Do you get along with your parents?: Yes. My mom watches DS at our house while DH and I work, and my dad comes over to take him for walks every day. Seeing the relationship they have developed with my child has made me happy beyond belief.

Number of siblings: I have one, a brother who's two years younger than me.

Do you get along with your siblings?: Yes, and much better now that he's getting a divorce.

How's your relationship with your ILs?: Great. I love them very much.

Do you have any least favorite relative? If so, why are they your least favorite? I have a cousin who has mental health issues that are poorly managed. He is inappropriate and smokes heavily, and at times is abusive toward his parents, which upsets me. Also, my STBX SIL. Glad I'll never have to spend a holiday with her again.

How many kids do you have, and how many do you plan on?: We have one, pregnant with #2. Not sure if this will be it, or if we will have a #3. Have to see how 2 goes first.

How long have you been married, if you are?: Will be married 3 years next month. 

Are your parents still married/divorced/deceased/remarried to others: My mom and dad were married, until my dad passed away from cancer 12 years ago. My mom has remarried and will be married 10 years next April to my step-dad. 

Do you get along with your parents?: Yes

Number of siblings:  1 bio, 2 step

Do you get along with your siblings?: Yes, though I do not know my step siblings very well, since we were all mostly grown by the time our parents married. 

How's your relationship with your ILs?: Better than it was a year ago. It is getting to a good place. 

Do you travel for holidays to see extended family, or do you prefer keeping the nuclear family at home?: We have pretty much decided we will stay home or local for holidays. Our families are all 2000 miles away and makes it very hard and expensive to travel for the holidays. So we do our own thing. 

Do you have any least favorite relative? If so, why are they your least favorite? My ILs. HAHA. We have had a lot of ups and downs, our relationship is still on the repair.
