Hi Ladies, 

I'm back here after 4 years and a rainbow baby.  I hope you'll have me.   We decided to try for a second child and after 6 months of TTC we had a bfp.  Everything was fine except I didn't have as much morning sickness as I did with my son, which reeked havoc on my PGAL brain.  Then I went in for an u/s at 9 weeks, no heartbeat, the baby measured 7 weeks 5 days.  Because I did not want my son to see me go through a natural m/c and the fact that it would have been at least a 2 week wait, I opted for a D&E.  I'm glad I did.  It is all eerily similar to my first m/c, which makes me think I should have testing, but of course that won't be done because my doc waits for 3 consecutive m/c's.  I still feel pretty numb. No sex till September, no TTC for at least 2 cycles. I disparately want to be able to give my son a sibling. Sigh. 

Here's a little about me.  I'm 31.  DH and I have been married for 6 years.  Our son just turned 3.  We have a dog and 2 cats. I'm a high school teacher and I run a small Etsy shop where I sell items I crochet.  I'm just started doing PiYo and I'm working on clean eating.  We enjoy going on hikes when DH has time off.  I enjoy reading.  Currently I'm working on the 5th Game of Thrones novel. 

I'm still involved with a group of former ttcal/pgalers who had rainbow babies in the summer of 2011 via FB.  They've been great support, but many are currently pregnant/have a 2nd child now and I'm finding that post mc jealousy is strong.  I hope to offer support to you ladies as well.  
  
I've read through the blog and lurked a bit to see how the board has evolved. I hope I've followed the guidelines well.   I changed my avatar because it was a pic of my son as a newborn, but I left a more current picture in my siggy--the blog said most people are ok with that.  He is my rainbow baby, so I hope you don't mind me including him.

    Welcome to the board.  I'm so very sorry you're here though.  I too am a TTCAL gal from many moons ago and am back after a failed attempt to give my DS (almost 3) a sibling.  It really sucks to see all of the other former TTCAL/PgAL ladies leave us behind as they go on to have their second and some even third children while the age gap between kids for us just keeps growing.  If you ever need to be bitter and jealous about that jazz, hit me up.  I'm your gal :)

    Welcome.  I'm sorry for your losses.  Good for you for taking care of yourself.  I have been doing PiYo as well and love it.  (Did strength intervals this morning - OUCH!)...  We have a healthy-living check-in that runs Mondays and Fridays and we'd love to have you check in with us if you're up for it.

    IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
    FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
    Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    @MrsG80inTN I'll definitely try to keep up with that post. I'm just in my first few days, today was Sweat, the hardest so far. I'm doing my best to follow the lean eating plan that goes with PiYo, are you doing that too? I need all the accountability I can get.  Also if someone could destroy ALL the chocolate...

    cherylanddoug - I eat pretty clean and close to the program, but not exact.  I track everything on MyFitnessPal.  At the moment I'm technically doing Insanity and supplementing with some PiYo workouts so I need more calories than PiYo allows :-)  Chocolate destruction would be helpful to me too.  I gave it up for 10 weeks in the spring and probably need to do that again.  UGH.

    All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal

    5 IUIs = BFN
