Vent/ Pity Party

Sometimes I just want to run away. DS has been particularly difficult today in terms of defiance (everything takes multiple requests!) maybe my patience is shot. I hate feeling like I want to snap at him. DH has been virtually absent the past 3 weeks, with work travel, work emergencies, and illness. We have no family, no close friends in our state, and our usual babysitter has been unavailable.

Hugs. Vent away. We live far away from both sets of grandparents.  We used to see DH's parents every couple of months, but his mom had hip surgery a few months ago. DH and I haven't had a date since last December

((HUGS))  I'm sorry.  I felt similarly when DH was out of town for 10 days, even though mine was not as long.  I hope things get better soon.

Hugs. I was having a rough parenting day myself a couple of days ago. It sucks when you have moments of hating your "job". There is no vacation time and you cannot call in sick. I miss my childless days sometimes. It was so much easier. Hugs again.

Thanks, everyone. I know we have all been there. It's especially hard since DS doesn't have any grandparents, and my mother would have been terrific with him! It's just so hard to find a qualified nanny or sitter who can also sign, since DS is hard of hearing and does both.
