I swear I feel like I am going to fall apart. I have been on Zofran for my nausea since before I was even pregnant. Then I've been in the hospital twice for dehydration. Now I'm anemic and can't take the iron supplements because I've been so sick and my dr said it will make it a lot worse. With my iron being low I've had restless legs every night for weeks now and been unable to sleep a full night. When I went for my 30w appt yesterday I had to have my Rhogam shot and found out I have GD. As if my diet wasn't restricted enough as is. I have Celiac (no gluten) and I'm lactose and dairy intolerant. I hardly have time to eat and I don't eat any sweets. The sweetest thing I ever have is about 8oz of tea each day. Also, my dr said I'm measuring larger than 30w2d so I have to go for another ultrasound to make sure there is not too much fluid or some other complication. I'm working 7 days a week, every week, as an in-home CNA and I can't remember the last time I saw my ankles.
Re: Feeling helpless
We're in the home stretch! Before you know it, that little baby will be in your arms and filling your heart and it will all have been so worth it. Hang in there!
Try and keep your eye on the prize, your baby. And thank god for Zofran.
Hopefully in 10 weeks, this will all just be a crappy memory.
Sorry this is hard! *hugs*
Bless your heart, sounds like you're been through the wringer. No words of wisdom, other than seconding the recommendation to see a nutritional specialist and see if pinning down a diet might make your life a little easier?
Home stretch now...may this be a bad (but fuzzy) memory in just a couple of months!
