Thoughts on Felicity?

DD 1 is Giavanna...we will find out gender next week (but thinking it's a girl)...we both like Felicity but not 100% sold on it and open to suggestions. Last name is two syllabals. I know we have time but wanted to throw it out to strangers. Thx

    I don't know... I think it feels a little "soft" next to the strong but pretty Giavanna.

    I love it! My friend just named her dd Felicity. It's beautiful and I like it with your DD1's name. They are both feminine but not frilly.

    Thx ladies. Francesca is not on the table. Although I think it's a beautiful name I have a bad association with the Name Fran (NN for Francis) from when I was younger and even if they didn't call her that in can't get over that being the beginning of her name.

    April 2014- Saline sono all's good, terrible SA results - 8 sperm found all abnormal
    May 2014- Fert Urology- Bilateral varicoceles, recommend Donor Sperm
    12/2014-  Surprise natural BFP  EDD 7/31/15 Plan:  Starting foster to adoption, natural cycles

    **Loss 3-Cycle 14 (January-February 2014)-M/C dx 2/10, EP dx 2/24, MTX 2/25**
    Beta Hell--hCG finally down to 0 - 6/20/14
    SA normal. Genetic testing normal. Hormonal testing normal.
    HSG 6/30/14 - found blocked left tube and 2 'bubbles' on uterine wall.
    Hysteroscopy/Lap--8/4/14 - Tubes unblocked. Polyps removed from uterine wall. Septum removed.
     9/30/14--Off the bench! Unmedicated TI through December 2014
    BFP 12/14/14!!! Beta #1, 12/16: 990 Beta #2, 12/18: Over 2000! Beta #3, 12/22: over 8000!
     U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
    U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015
    U/S #3, 1/9: BPM in the 180s, IT'S HAPPENING!!!

    I think Felicity is a pretty name. My only thought is that it's a bit of a mouthful. Is there any real way to shorten it? City? Lol.

    It was our girl name for this baby (who had turned out to be a boy). Love it. It is pretty, feminine and will age well.

    I love it! My strongest association is with Felicity Merriman, who was my favorite American Girl. I would love to use the name myself, though I don't think DH will go for it. Francesca would go a bit better with Giavanna, but both are lovely.
