It's all I listened to during my 2 hour commute while pregnant and apparently it stuck. Poor DH desperately wants them to love classical music, but nope!
Now that they're outside babies I'm teaching them to love Disney classics. I like them to be well rounded ya know.
Even in the womb my LO danced and played to ludacris radio on pandora, I swear I thought she was going to come out saying "LUDA" lol. Other than that she only likes Jason Mraz radio--bummer since I listen to country!
Either my boys are flexible or I'm oblivious! I haven't noticed a preference either way & we've covered classical, reggae, classic rock, the Beatles, kids' music and rap/hip hop. Maybe I'm just unobservant?
Same here. There is one Bach piece that DH plays while holding LO and it calms him out of a screaming fit. It doesn't work for me though.
He loves reggae! We listen to eek-a-mouse radio on pandora and he is super happy. Also, he loves me singing. I don't have the best voice but I can calm him instantly with a little jimmy buffet or sublime lol.
Henry is loving country music. He calms down instantly in the car when it comes on, much to DH's dismay. I have a 90s station playing on Spotify now and he fell asleep during TLC's "Waterfalls" and we had a dance party to "Jump Around" and "Gonna Make You Sweat" which all those squats dane moves did. I am counting that as my cardio today.
Although the Miles Davis station or classical piano are the favs for sleep, he jams to TI, Jay-Z, and most southern rap. Just like his looks, this baby is a mix of DH and me.
