toddler cradle cap?

C never had cradle cap as an infant but now he has this large dry patch under his hair. Has anyone else dealt with this and have a good remedy?

J still has it just a bit. I was never good at getting rid of it.

My pedi recommended OTC hydrocortisone cream applied once a day when DD had cradle cap as an infant, and it worked like a charm to get rid of it.  I don't know how difficult it would be to apply it now that she has a lot more hair, though.

It's not eczema, just flaky skin. I'm going to pull out the soft bristled brush tonight and hope that helps. We are all in my brother's wedding Saturday and now we are dealing with this and a self inflicted scratch down his cheek. Sigh....

Baby oil or coconut oil and comb it out

when mine were babies and would get it I would tub baby oil on their heads and then I would comb backwards through their hair. Good luck.
