I haven't been around much because I'm not doing well in my brain.  I have a doctor appointment today, which is causing me all sorts of anxiety, but I'm going anyway. 

I'm overwhelmed and waking up crying and/or angry every day and Dr. Google tells me it's likely depression.  Hopefully IRL doctor can either confirm or deny this internet-based self-diagnosis.  I've also gotten my period three times in the last 6 weeks so GOOD TIMES.  

I can see by the shelter cat thread that not much has changed around here, which is oddly comforting.

Also - 10 days to the Doctor Who premiere and, like, eleventybillion months until the Sherlock premiere.  

Also, Pt. 2 - "new plural" on the yellow flags?  That is some hilarious bullshit right there.  23 new plural? So 23 is more than one?  NO SHIT, BGs.

I'm sorry you're having a rough time  Don't discount the possibility that the messed up feels and the wonky bleeding may be connected - mention it all.  It could very well be something hormonal (talking out of my ass - I have no medical training but when two things happen at the same time, it seems plausible)

Good to see you @CinemaGoddess‌. I hope you get some relief from your appt. I cant speak personally to meds, but I can say that they've been a huge help to MH (although it may take some tweaking to find the right one for you) who suffers from depression.

I'm going to start with diet/exercise changes and vitamins, I think, before I move on to other medications.  I'm also going to ask to go back on BCP because I CANNOT with my period anymore.

Yes.  The DC situation has gotten better, somewhat.  We have the girls on melatonin right now, so they're sleeping better, which is making dropoffs easier. 

Work, however, is fucked.  I've essentially been laid off, with my last day as September 30th.

Yup, which is why I want to try other things before medications.  My period just started getting wonky 6 weeks ago and all of this other stuff has been going on for almost 6 months.

Anemia can lead to depression and anxiety and with that many periods, anemia is likely.  II am sure they will run a full set of bloodwork to check out various causes.

I'm actually pretty excited about 12.  I like that he's an older Doctor.  They can just get rid of Clara and I'd be happy. 

The more I watch Clara episodes the more she annoys the crap out of me.  She's quickly entering Rose level of annoying.

I'm sorry things are rough CG. I hope that things get better soon. I've missed seeing you around. And I agree with you about Clara. I find her annoying. Although, I kind of liked Rose...or I liked Rose with Ten. So, we differ there.
