I picked currently introducing but that's not true. Just what best describes. My plan is to mix my frozen stash with WCM sometime between 11mo. And 12mo. Her bday isn't until the end of September. But I do plan on doing it just before then.
I will likely start with Almond milk since we had issues with my son and dairy but I will likely start it after I have had her one year check up with the Pedi. I just want to have a conversation about it before I jump in. I was thinking I could probably start her now since she eats everything and is almost totally on "adult" food but I feel more comfortable talking to my Pedi. Also my son was a HUGE baby so we went right to 2% initially and then to almond milk when he had a reaction. But my daughter is on the smaller side so Im not sure if we will still need to be full fat.
I voted to gradually introduce at a year, but maybe even more towards 13-14 months. DD hardly eats anything. It's a struggle to get her to eat solids so I'm really scared that she won't get the nutrients she needs. I'm gonna have to talk to her doctor and figure out what my best solution is considering she's still a very very slow gainer.
Between my pumping output and my feezer stash I have enough to get to 1 year, but don't want to just switch cold turkey. I was thinking of starting to top off bottles about 10 days before her first birthday. She is only getting one bottle now (nursing twice) and water in a sippy at each meal, which she does very good w/. I'm planning on gradually switching over using her bottle and once she is all WCM dropping the bottle for just another sippy. I hope she takes milk well in a sippy.
Just curious what everybody else is doing.
I will be doing the same, introducing it in with her bottles first then switching over to sippy cups so it's not too much change all at once.

I will start mixing BM with WCM in about 2 weeks, and hope to be fully transitioned by 1 year. She is very much a comfort nurser though, so I am a bit nervous about how she is going to handle it. She still nurses immediately before naps and bed for the comfort.
I am worried too because I also have a comfort nurser.
I planned to start introducing WCM at 11.5 months but we are blowing through my freezer stash way faster than I anticipated so we are starting it now. I cut out my pump session during the work day and at the same time she started night nursing like crazy so that drastically reduced my morning pump so kow I'm not producing much at all and the freezer stash is almost gone. Hopefully I can get my supply back up a bit and add the WCM and still nurse to bed at night until a year. I was really meeting myself up over missing the timing on this so bad but in reality she eats a ton of stuff and had no issues today (1st day on milk). It's making me feel better that others are cutting a bit early too.
I really haven't thought about weaning too much. I've always let lo nurse on demand and by reading her cues I can tell she isn't interested in weaning. My supply is established enough were I have been able to cut out two pumping sessions at work and still keep up with her demand.
That being said, her birthday is the end of September and I'll slowly start introducing in her sippy cup.

I'm not producing enough, so we already add a little WCM to her BM bottles while I'm at work. She took to it no problem. Right now she gets three bottles a day, but I'm thinking I'll try to get her noon bottle switched to WCM sippy soon, then keep her on 2 BM bottles for a while longer.
She still nurses on demand when I'm home and will continue as long as she wants and/or as long as my supply holds out.
